General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, January 31, 2019 reveals Kim (Tamara Braun) invites Drew (Billy Miller) to go to her place. Kim warns Drew her place is a mess; her place is clean. Drew says he knows Oscar (Garren Stitt) didn’t do this; she says the cleaners must have come today.
GH Spoilers Julian Confesses His Love For Kim
Kim tells Drew that Julian (William DeVry) paid for cleaners for her. Kim offers Drew a drink, and he asks if she wants to talk about Julian. Kim tells Drew that Julian cheated on her, the end. Drew says but he didn’t cancel the cleaners, she tells him he didn’t cancel other things too. Drew thinks Julian still cares. Drew sits on a knitting needle, and Kim shows him a scarf she has been working on, she thinks it’s ugly.
Kim thanks Drew for playing along with her. Drew leaves before Oscar can get home and think they are ganging up on him. Julian goes to visit Kim and tells her he lied to her. Julian tells her there is no one else, just Kim. Kim tells Julian she can’t talk right now. Julian wanted Kim to be glad to be rid of him because he thought she and Oscar needed Drew. Julian tells Kim he loves her and she can do whatever she wants with this knowledge and leaves.
General Hospital Spoilers Brad And Lucas Help Liz
General Hospital’s Julian and Brad (Parry Shen) are at the hospital. Julian tries to calm Brad down, but he’s concerned about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Brad questions why Julian told him about this, Julian says the worst that could happen is Wiley have a mother figure. Brad is afraid Wiley might need a bone marrow or something, Julian says that is unlikely. Lucas (Ryan Carnes) comes up and says oh really? Lucas is furious with Brad for being with Julian.

Julian takes offense to Lucas’ attitude and defends Brad. Brad and Lucas come upon Liz and see the books she is reading. Brad asks if she has a gay patient she needs them to talk to for her. Liz tells Brad and Lucas about the bullying at school. Lucas and Brad tell Liz about their experience growing up gay. Brad and Lucas tell Liz there is a way to make Aiden feel more comfortable, he needs to see her with her gay friends, so he knows she accepts them. Brad suggests she invite them over for dinner. Lucas tells Liz this isn’t going to get easier any time soon.
GH Spoilers Alexis Attends A Seminar With Kristina
General Hospital’s Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrives at the house where Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) is staying. Shiloh (Ryan Coby McLaughlin) greets her as well. Shiloh begins the seminar, being one when you are two. Alexis didn’t realize it was a course. Kristina tells her the first session is free. Alexis is annoyed that Kristina misrepresented the seminar. Shiloh who wants to go first in the couples discussion and encourage Alexis to keep pushing for answers.

Kristina finally says she wants Alexis’ respect. Kristina asks how Alexis liked the seminar. Alexis felt like Shiloh put her on the spot. Alexis feels bad that Kristina thinks she doesn’t respect her because she does. Alexis tells Kristina she gets upset because Kristina doesn’t live the life she wants her to. Alexis says she needs to remember that Kristina has to live her life on her terms. Kristina pushes Alexis to talk about Julian. Kristina pushes Alexis until she admits to wanting the relation that she had with Julian before they broke up. Alexis is uncomfortable and wants to leave. Shiloh pushes Alexis to stay and talk. Alexis tells Kristina they will talk more but not here and now. Alexis tells Kristina that this is not for her and leave.

General Hospital Liesl Threatens Valentin
General Hospital’s Liesl (Kathleen Gati) is on the phone with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) pressing him for money or a job. Valentin is with Peter (Wes Ramsey) and tells her he is working on it. Liesl joins Maxie (Kirstin Storms) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) to toast Nathan (ex-Ryan Paevey) on the anniversary of his death. They exchange stories about Nathan and discuss the ones they will never know. Liesl starts to bring up Peter, Nina stops her.

Maxie has taken off her ring, Liesl notices it gone. Maxie tells Liesl not to worry about the ring. Liesl asks Maxie if she took the ring off. Maxie tells Liesl she thought it was time to take the ring off. Nina tells Maxie about Liesl wanting a job at Crimson, and she and Liesl argue. Nina arrives home, and Valentin asks what he can do for her. Maxie and Liesl talk about a job, Maxie calls Peter over to join them.
GH Franco Is Questioned
General Hospital’s Franco (Roger Howarth) picks up books on potentially gay kids for himself and Liz (Rebecca Herbst). Liz is uncomfortable and tries to avoid talking with Franco about this. Liz wants to discuss things on Aiden’s (Jason David) terms; Franco says the kid at school already made it necessary. Liz takes the book and promises to read them. Franco gets a call from Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) to meet with her and Chase (Josh Swickard).
Jordan and Chase have been going over the evidence against the serial killer and wanted Franco’s take on it. Chase and Jordan go through the evidence with him and tell the only thing the murders have in common are him. Franco doesn’t know where he was during each murder, but he doesn’t know Peyton. Franco gives them his phone to check his records and then advises them to catch the killer before he kills again. Jordan returns Franco’s phone, and Franco leaves telling them to contact his lawyer next time. Jordan involves Kevin in the investigation with Franco; they want his opinion on if Franco will kill again.
General Hospital Ava Offers Julian Advice
General Hospital’s Ava (Maura West) asks Lucas (Ryan Carnes) about Lulu (Emme Rylan). Lucas informs Ava that he can’t discuss patients. Ava says Lulu is the only one who can identify the person who killed Kiki. Ava comes up just in time for Julian to use her as an excuse to be at the hospital. Julian tries to discourage Ava hanging around the hospital, but she wants to avenge Kiki’s death. Julian tells Ava she will only lose the remaining daughter she has.
Julian encourages Ava to take a trip with Kevin. Ava thinks Julian should go away with Kim; he says they aren’t going anywhere together. Julian tells Ava that Kim hasn’t talked to him and probably isn’t worrying about him. Julian tells Ava that Oscar’s prognosis came back and it isn’t good. Ava accuses Julian of being an ass and leaves without letting him explain.
