General Hospital viewers will recall how Michael was played by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) previously, and all the lies she hurt his family with as well as hurting him. So Michael might be a little sensitive to any kind of deceit by someone he’s involved with. Even if the deceit was for a noble reason, and really doesn’t affect him or his family.
After all, the things Nelle did (and is still doing, since the deceit about their son Jonah Corinthos (Eric and Theodore) is ongoing) have probably given him trust issues that could give him baggage going into any new relationship!
General Hospital viewers know Sasha is getting more uncomfortable with the charade day by day. She cares about Nina and doesn’t want her to be hurt. Sasha is bonding with her like they could really be mother and daughter. She has tried a couple of times to bring the subject up with her but has been interrupted.
However, this does show that unlike Nelle, Sasha does have a conscience. This may help if Sasha talks to Michael and at least tells him the truth about her predicament. After all, General Hospital viewers saw he wasn’t too upset with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
In a recent episode, Willow confessed she had lied about her baby having died. But then, he hasn’t gotten in deep with Willow like he might with Sasha.
General Hospital viewers also know that Michael can be a pretty understanding guy. If Sasha confesses her problem to him sooner rather than later, and explains the situation thoroughly he might not be so upset.
Michael will see she does have a conscience and regrets getting herself into this untenable charade. But if she waits, and the truth comes out before she’s told him, then he will be badly hurt. He may feel like he’s been used just like Nelle used him, even though the situation is a little different.
