General Hospital viewers will recall how a drunken Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) nearly spilled the whole can of worms to Nurse Felix DuBois (Marc Samuel) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) aboard the Haunted Star, during Franco and Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) wedding celebration.
She didn’t hint anything specific about the baby to Felix, although she did imply that Lucas Jones’ (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) marriage was on the rocks, which led Felix to ask Brad to clarify; Felix and Brad were in competition for Lucas a few years back, as General Hospital viewers will also recall. That move could have gotten Liesl killed, as it was more than likely a frightened Brad who pushed her off the deck! She told even more to Franco, who seemed confused and discussed it with Liz later, who agreed that Liesl definitely knew something!
In the General Hospital promo video for the week of July 15th, there is a scene of a tearful Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) telling her aunt Liesl, who she is visiting with in her hospital room at General Hospital, that the evil Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughln) is Wiley’s birth father; Liesl suggests to her, what if he isn’t?
Little does Michael know that every time he holds, plays with, or plants a kiss on his godson Wiley’s cute little face or the top of his head, it’s really his own not-so-dead son Jonah Corinthos!
Usually, when the Corinthos family goes to think about a lost loved one, such as Michael’s late half-brother Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) it is usually at the grave, or in the case of the Quartermaine family, to the family crypt. Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard, Laura Wright) often go to Morgan’s grave to reflect, and in Carly’s case, often to talk to her dead son in an attempt to assuage her grief and try to find some form of closure.
As General Hospital viewers recall, Morgan’s body was never found, and only a few of his belongings he had with him the night that he tried to steal Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) car and it exploded, having been sabotaged by his older more evil sister Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) in an attempt to kill Julian. At least Michael had a body to grieve, even though it wasn’t the right one!
General Hospital spoilers tease that there will be devastation when the truth of the baby swap comes out, but there will also be joy; Michael and the Corinthoses will be overjoyed that Michael’s son didn’t really die, and the blow won’t be as devastating to Lucas, since Carly is his sister by adoption and he’ll still be around and undoubtedly be given plenty of access to the baby. But, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be devastated, and Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), if he hasn’t been killed by someone by that time, will be enraged!
Brad may lose Lucas, but then again he may not if Lucas realized the whole baby swap was engineered by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and basically under blackmail that entire time! Willow will likely be given plenty of time with Jonah by Michael, however, since she has become attached to him. Julian Jerome (William DeVry), however, may be left out in the cold!
