General Hospital Spoilers: Love Is In The Air – Peter and Maxie Kiss!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) must have finally “let Maxie (Kirsten Storms) know” it was okay for her to move on and be happy! In a Valentine’s Day preview video called “A Thousand Years,” it shows Maxie and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) finally sharing their first kiss, just in time for Valentine’s Day!

“Paxie” fans have been waiting for quite a while for this! For sure, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will not be a happy camper, having already expressed shock that Maxie is no longer wearing her wedding ring, and to see that she has moved on with “Heinrik” will be even more upsetting for her. But Peter adores his little nephew James (the Marciano twins) who he, in fact, helped Maxie give birth to, and Maxie has always seen so much of Nathan in Peter, he’s been a great comfort to her.

That goes to show that sometimes it really is nature, not nurture that makes a person who he or she is! Now, if only Liesl could see Nathan in Peter instead of Faison (Anders Hove)! It’s really not fair since Faison was Nathan’s father too, but Liesl must have some residual jealousy of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that spills over into her opinions of Peter!

Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) may have some opinions of her own when she finds that Peter and Maxie are becoming involved, but she’ll probably be too busy with her own love life since she’s decided to remarry Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to care. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) has already given his implied blessing to the union since he told Peter to guard Maxie, and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) will only want her daughter to be happy.
