In the General Hospital preview video for August 12, 2019, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) is at Charlie’s Pub behind the bar and is shocked to hear that Julian is selling the bar and moving to Manhattan, exclaiming, “You’re selling Charlie’s?” This new promo focuses on what happens after Julian confirms to Kristina he’s selling out and what happens when her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hears the news.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kristina Corinthos Asks Julian Jerome If He Has Told Her Mom

Kristina asks Julian if he has told her mom that he’s selling the bar and moving out of Port Charles, as Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) sits at a nearby table with Kim Nero, going over paperwork. It sounds like Lucy is selling Kim’s condo for her and explaining she will set up a time to come over and assess the property at Kim’s convenience and give her a ballpark idea of an asking price.

GH Spoilers – Julian Jerome’s Not Trying To Leave Alexis Davis In The Dark

Julian tells Kristina he’s not trying to “offload” her mother, it’s just that he hasn’t had a chance to talk to her yet about his plans. Just at that moment, Alexis happens to walk up behind Julian and Kristina as they are talking about his and Kim’s plans to move in together in Manhattan; Alexis asks if she should brace herself for anything. Julian tells her it all depends on where she stands on the issue, as Kristina walks away to give them some privacy. Julian tells Alexis that he’s selling Charlie’s Pub and moving to Manhattan, and Alexis looks halfway between shocked and concerned!

Some Background History On “Julexis”

The pairing of Julian Jerome and Alexis Davis several years ago helped reignite the popularity of “the supercouple”, and they were one of the most popular. The Julexis story began when Julian came out of witness protection, where he had been for many years, and came to Port Charles as Derek Wells, a multimedia publisher who bought Crimson Magazine, mainly as a tax write off. It was discovered that he was really Julian Jerome, who had been presumed dead for over twenty years when he turned out to be a donor match for Danny Morgan (now Porter Fasullo) who had developed leukemia as a baby.

Afterward, Alexis and Julian realized that they had a backseat romp when Alexis was seventeen years old and hooked up with Julian, who was a little older and in college at the time at a bar. Alexis realized Julian was Sam’s birth father and Julian realized he had a daughter! The couple took off on a slow burn and escalated into a bonfire within a short amount of time, but Julexis was destroyed when Julian’s older sister, also presumed dead for many years, Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) came to Port Charles.

She forced Julian into doing some very unsavory things, including threatening Alexis with the knife that Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) used to murder her mother, Kristin Bergman (uncast character) in front of her when she was a small child. Julian and Alexis divorced, and it appears that he has moved on with Kim but Alexis still carries a torch for Julian!
