General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will question Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) motives in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos And Sonny Corinthos Have Not Been Seeing Eye To Eye

General Hospital viewers will recall that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have not been seeing eye to eye on at least two different issues, one with Sonny not liking Carly keeping secrets from him and the other about taking his rapidly deteriorating father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) overseas to Sweden to put him in an Alzheimers treatment trial. Carly may bring Jason into the situation, since Sonny is so desperate to keep his father that his emotions seem to be overriding his judgment.

Even Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) recently asked Sonny to consider whether Mike would want this or not, especially since taking him overseas to a foreign country when he’s already confused and combative could make things even worse! And then there’s how to get him there – a private jet might not be so bad but if Sonny had to fly commercial to get Mike to the clinic, Mike could run off in a connecting airport and get lost, he could become combative and hurt someone, almost anything could happen! He could even become confused enough to open a door on the plane when it’s in the air! This is more likely the issue that Jason will question Sonny’s motives about.

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan Will Ask Sonny Some Hard Questions About His Motives

Given the rapidly deteriorating state that Mike is in with his Alzheimers’ Jason will sit Sonny down and ask him some hard questions. It is true that Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) looked at Mike’s charts and offered to write a recommendation to the specialist at the Swedish clinic and he probably did, but he only looked at the charts during his short visit. He didn’t actually examine Mike. If he had, he may not have thought the trial would help Mike or that he would be able to handle the long trip and the new surroundings. Jason may bring up that point if Sonny uses Griffin’s recommendation as a reason to take Mike to Sweden.

Sonny may be considering what Mike would want, but he is thinking what Mike before Alzheimers would want – not what he would want now or what he would want if he had known ahead of time the condition he would be in now. Jason will likely reiterate the same things Michael asked Sonny about if this is what Mike would want, or is it more about what Sonny wants for Mike.

He may also bring up scenarios about what could happen on the plane and in the airports, if Mike were to become confused or combative; what is Sonny going to do, sedate him? And even if he did, can he get his sedated father through airports or onto planes? The best thing would be a medical transport but they don’t normally transport patients from one country to another, although Sonny could try to hire one. Sonny will have to try to put himself in Mike’s place and decide what is best for Mike, with all things taken into consideration.
