General Hospital Spoilers: Hayden’s Return Spells Trouble For Anna And Finn

Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) is on her way back to Port Charles, and Budig opens up about returning to “General Hospital” to reprise the role.

After two years of being off the grid, Hayden might be ready to reveal her secret about her baby with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). When she left, she told Finn that she lost her baby, which was not true. She pulled off a disappearing act and used a new name, Madison Ford.

Finn has since moved on with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). So what better timing for Hayden to make a comeback when Finn has just proposed to Anna.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Budig shared that she felt flattered that “General Hospital” sees the potential story for Hayden and Finn.

“I think there is a lot left untold there,” Budig said. “And there’s a lot of story to mine. And not just with the baby, but with everything: the engagement, the way they feel about each other. I think there are a lot of unanswered questions and a lot of things to figure out.”

The details of Hayden’s return remain a secret, even to Budig.

“I am curious about how they are going to bring Hayden back and who I’ll be working with,” the actress shared. “It should be fun!”

If she arrives in town with the baby in her arms, it would surely create a drama for Finn and Anna. Will Finn be shaken and postpone his plans with Anna? How will Anna react to the potential love triangle?

General Hospital Spoilers – Hayden Barnes Back This Summer

Hayden first appeared in Port Charles in 2015, claiming to be Jake Doe’s wife. Jake turned out to be Jason Morgan, who was later revealed as Drew Cain (Billy Miller). A lot has happened since then, Hayden left town in 2017 because of her embezzlement plot to get rid of her ex-husband.

Budig is thrilled to be back and also to work with GH co-stars Rebecca Herbst and Donnell Turner again, aside from Easton and Hughes.

No specific air-date has been announced yet, but watch for Hayden to appear this summer.
