General Hospital Spoilers: Hayden Opens Up To Ava About What She Knows

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) will open up to Ava Jerome (Maura West), possibly about what she knows about Nikolas Cassadine (most recently Nick Stabile)!

Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) don’t have that much in common to discuss – except Nikolas! They are both mothers of daughters but Ava never kept either of hers a secret, so that can’t be what they would be discussing! The only thing that makes sense for Hayden to open up to Ava about which is something she knows about would be Nikolas!

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Witnessed Nikolas Cassadine Take A Bullet And Fall Out A High Window

General Hospital viewers will recall that Ava was on an airplane and happened to get the seat next to “Niall Carradine” who she recognized as Nikolas Cassadine a few years ago. They shared an adventure together running from a strange little British man named Huxley Lynch (Trent Dawson) who claimed Ava had stolen his family heirloom, a small sculpture called “The Weeping Nyad”.

Lynch also recognized Nikolas, who he thought was an actor in a movie he had seen. After that escapade, Ava and Nikolas went to Cassadine Island, where he and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) got into a struggle over a gun when Nikolas jumped in between Valentin and Ava, when Valentin pointed a gun at her, and the gun went off and Nikolas was shot and fell through a window behind them. From Ava’s viewpoint, she thought Valentin shot him on purpose and have become emotionally attached to Nikolas, said Valentin murdered him!

General Hospital Spoilers – Hayden Barnes Was Still Legally Married To Nikolas When He Was Presumed Dead

When Nikolas was on the plane with Ava, he was leaving Port Charles because he wanted to fake his death; but he was still legally married to Hayden at the time. They were only married for two months before he found out she was really Rachel Berlin, and lost trust in her, believing that she only married him for his money because of her scandalous reputation as Rachel Berlin, associating her with her father who was in prison for Ponzi schemes!

That wasn’t the only reason that Nikolas wanted to leave and fake his death, however; he could have been on the run fearing that he would be found culpable in the death of his grandmother, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) who wrote in her diary, which Ava later found that Nikolas had poisoned her tea. That is, of course, if he really had poisoned her tea and knew about her having accused him in her diary!

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine May Still Be Alive

General Hospital writers have given all kinds of clues that Nikolas is still alive, from psychics not being able to reach him in the afterlife to the mysterious Cassadine who intercepted Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) and the assumption it may have been Nikolas since it could not have been Valentin at that time.

Now Hayden has recently returned to Port Charles and she and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) are looking for a codicil Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) had written to amend his will, which would prove Valentin as not being the true heir to the Cassadine fortune.

Granted, they may be working in behalf of Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) but his grandmother and legal guardian Laura Collins (Genie Francis) would know something about that, one would think! Hayden may open up to Ava about Nikolas being alive since Ava was the last one to be involved with him and Hayden moved on to Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton)!
