Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have a pointed discussion in which they will have two different opinions. General Hospital viewers will recall that Anna had been reviewing the case file where she had been looking for connections between her son, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and the people involved in the two attempts on Dr. Andre Maddox’s (Anthony Montgomery) life and Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
She was wanting to disprove Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) theories that Peter was involved but then she finds a connection where the gunman that Peter himself killed at GH and Peter had worked for a shell company of the DVX at the same time. She mutters to herself, “Oh no!” and Finn overhears and asks her what’s wrong. She explains, and remarks “That’s tough” and Finn asks her what she’s going to do about it. Finn thinks she needs to let Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) or the police take over, but she says no. She knows Robert would convict Peter without a trial if he could get away with it!
At Rice Park, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter are helping with the annual Christmas coat giveaway and Maxie starts talking about Jason. She notes to a nervous looking Peter that Jason will not stop until he finds out who the bad guy is, and he can’t help but think he needs to stop Jason from snooping around.
Peter thought he was free and clear when Bryce Henderson, (Brian Gross), Shiloh Archer, (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and the latest gunman were dead, and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) came out of the memory transfer reversal procedure as Franco. But he will probably convince himself he’s just being paranoid, not knowing his own mother is investigating him and not being sure what to do with the evidence she’s found!
Little Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) has a heartbreaking question for Finn when she looks up at him with her sweet, innocent face and asks him if her mommy will be back in time for Christmas! Anna and Finn will try to distract her from the subject but she will be persistent, and Finn will give her an early Christmas gift that he had addressed like it had been from her mommy.
It’s only a matter of time until the day he is dreading might come when he has to tell little Violet that his mommy may never come back, since as General Hospital viewers will recall from a conversation between Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) a couple of weeks ago, Jax has not been able to even leave voice mails on her cell phone and there has been no contact from her to even Nikolas!
Also at Rice Park at the Christmas coat giveaway, Brook Lynn Ashton (Amanda Setton) and Julian Jerome (William DeVry) are sitting on a bench together and talking about Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) who as General Hospital viewers will recall, was released from GH but transferred to Turning Woods’ long term care unit because he slipped into another coma immediately after doctors brought him out of the medically induced one.
Brook Lynn will ask some questions about how he and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) produced Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw) and show him some pictures on her phone that he hadn’t seen. He will tell her that is possibly the best present he could get!
Willow Tait, (Katelyn MacMullen) who is waiting downstairs with Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theodore Olson) while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) goes to bring Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) down from another floor, is starting to feel threatened by the gaze of the young woman with the Cheshire cat grin who wants to hold Wiley!
Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) has chatted her up enough that she now knows who she is and that the baby is her son, Jonah Corinthos, and the next step on her plan is probably to ask Willow to get her a cup of coffee so she can run off with him! Will Michael and Brad return in time?
At Turning Woods, Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Benard, Laura Wright) have to calm down an agitated Mike Corbin (Max Gail) who is in a panic, shouting, “They took her! They took my wife!” He must be talking about Yvonne Godfrey (Janet Hubert), his make believe wife in Turning Woods.
Sonny will likely contact Marcus Godfrey (Nigel Gibbs) since Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) has returned to England again, and see if he can get more information. Perhaps Yvonne is out of her room because has had to have a medical procedure or tests.
