General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Left Port Charles To Visit With Her Twin

Anna Devane left Port Charles to visit with her twin sister Alexandra Marick on Friday, May 31st which is also when their portrayer Finola Hughes left on her yearly vacation. We recently reported that she was back at the General Hospital studio taping as of August 8th, and now we can update fans that her first airdate is September 19th. Finola takes off the summer months every year for vacation.

GH Spoilers – Anna And Alex Were Part Of The First Twins Memory Transfer Study

General Hospital viewers will recall that Anna and her twin sister Alex were part of the first memory transfer study performed by Dr. Arthur Cabot (Time Winters), referred to as “Patients One And Two”. Dr. Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlain (both played by Jon Lindstrom) were “Patients Three and Four” with their memory transfer probably being performed by Cabot as well, and then Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller) were “Patients Five And Six”, with an improved process developed from the original by Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery).

However, Anna was disturbed that perhaps some of her memories were really Alex’s, and so she went to find her and visit with her so the two of them could sort out whose memories were whose, especially when it came to the conception and birth of Peter August, (Wes Ramsey) also known as Heinrik Faison.

General Hospital Spoilers – Things May Have Been Different With Anna and Alex’s Memory Transfer Experience

Things may have been different with Anna and Alex’s memory transfer experiences since they were the first two patients of what basically was an experiment.

Long-time General Hospital viewers who also watched the defunct ABC soap All My Children and followed Finola to that soap when the character of Alexandra Marick was introduced, with her finding Anna and helping her regain her health after being presumed dead for many years as a result of a boat explosion she was in with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) who was also presumed dead, along with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) will remember that Alex had some of Anna’s memories, for one calling a horse “Scorpio” and not being quite sure why.

She had been “brainwashed” to believe she was Anna, before even knowing that she was her twin! Anna and Alex never did get all of those memories sorted out back then, so this trip Anna has been on all summer has been to finally get that accomplished with Alex after all those years.

It would seem that they each had some of their own memories mixed in with the other one’s memories, which didn’t happen between Drew and Jason, but may have between Ryan and Kevin, seeing as Kevin “thought he was Ryan” years ago after Ryan supposedly died in the funhouse fire, but was later revealed to have been in the DVX, as was Alex and Faison!
