General Hospital Spoilers: Fans Believe Now That JaSAM Is Back GH Ratings Will Soar

General Hospital writers have finally put Sam and Jason back together. Was the reunion worth it in the neverending rating war?

General Hospital Fallen Below DOOL A Few Times

In the past few years, General Hospital has fallen below Days of Our Lives in some demographics more than once. Both ABC and Jasam fans were hoping for a rise in the ratings from the Jasam reunion, did they get what they wanted? Ratings were up for the entire week of the Jasam reunion. ABC should be happy with the 1.8 ratings because GH has been as low as 1.5 at times. Most Jasam fans were thrilled to have their couple back together, but could it have been better?

Some Fans Were Not Happy

Of course, fans of the epic couple Jason and Sam, known to their fans as Jasam, had mixed reactions to the reunion. Some fans expected more from the love scene than what we got, and some fans saw it as typical Jasam sex. Sam and Jason have never been a showy sexual couple. Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco’s chemistry never called for huge displays when it came to love scenes. Jasam had a huge fan base for years. Jasam was the couple that wasn’t meant to be originally, but their onscreen chemistry had people rooting for Jasam before they were a couple.

Some fans have been Jasam fans since that lately often mentioned interrogation room scene. Through the years fans saw an occasional shirtless scene but never clothes stripping underwear flying scene. Why did we not see this with Jasam? Because it was never needed, the implication of the steps of the love scene was all Jasam fans required to support their couple. True fans of the couple never needed a more intense scene because Jasam was always about love, not the sex.

How Do Jasam Fans Feel About The Ratings

Fans of the couple, Jasam, are reasonably satisfied with the ratings because, in reality, Jasam fans have proven a point to some of the Twitter naysayers against their couple. Certain fans bases have vowed to team up and boycott General Hospital because they are not happy with Jasam being back together. Some fans claim that Dream ( Drew and Sam) often referred to as SaD by some fans, did it better.

Jasam fans disagree. Jasam fans feel that the overall ratings were very good for the week and will continue to improve. Jasam fans are ready to continue to support their couple no matter what it takes or who disagrees and will be there to do so for years to come.

Sometimes less is more, and that has always been the case with Jasam. Most fans don’t expect a huge love scene out of the couple because, until “fake” Jason, it was never an issue. True Jasam fans want nothing more than their couple and their adventure and Jason Morgan to be a father to his kids, and that is what they have gotten. Jasam fans are ready and waiting for more.
