General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Webber’s Long Nightmare May Finally Be Over

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) long nightmare may finally be over just in time for the holidays! Currently, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) still hasn’t regained consciousness after the memory mapping reversal was completed. Out of all the possible outcomes, the worst by far is that Franco would remain in a vegetative state. So regardless of whose memories he ends up with, Franco waking up would at least rule out the worst possible outcome.

Franco Baldwin will most likely be back

Considering everything Liz has gone through these past few months, it’s doubtful the powers that be are going to put another hurdle between Franco and Liz getting back together. It’s has been torture for most fans watching Franco think he is someone else, and even worse that he was in love with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). Kim and Franco sleeping together was hard for Elizabeth to deal with, but she knew it was really Franco betraying their vows.

Kim Nero wanted Drew to stay “Drew” because he remembered her and their love for one another. Kim is still grieving over the death of her son by the real Drew Cain (Billy Miller), so it was hard for Liz to be too rough on her, but Kim knew that “Drew” didn’t belong in Franco’s body, and she encouraged him anyway. But that’s all over now, so as soon a Franco wakes up, nothing should get in the way of Liz and Franco’s happiness, at least for now.

Romantic times ahead

Romance will be the priority for Liz and Franco. That and taking care of her three boys, all of whom love Franco. But perhaps, its time for Liz and Franco to have a baby of their own. Liz already has three boys, but a little girl would be really nice for her to finally have. And Franco deserves a child of his own. He has proven he is no longer the man who terrorized Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco). His heroism, just in the past year, should prove to him that he is worthy of love. And a brand new baby with Elizabeth may be exactly what both of them need.
