General Hospital Spoilers: Drew And Kim Head To Mount Kilimanjaro To Scatter Oscar’s Ashes — Will They Get To The Submit Safely?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) will take the next steps to begin healing from the untimely death of their sixteen-year-old son Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) as they prepare to scatter his ashes at Mount Kilimanjaro, as were his final wishes. They will begin climbing the mountain, because Drew and Oscar were going to climb it together had he not died.

This is bound to be an emotional time for the two grieving parents as they work out their anger, sadness, and despair while climbing the mountain. We can only hope that Drew recalls Navy Seal mountain climbing skills and that Kim has some experience, or this could be dangerous!

GH Spoilers– Kim And Drew Set To Climb Mount Kilimanjaro

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro isn’t just a hike in the woods! However, the website https://www.climbkilimanjaroguide.com/kilimanjaro-map/ does show that there are seven routes already set for climbers to use, with one for descent only. There are also huts, tours, and guides available so it’s not like Drew and Kim will be blazing their own trail.

However, they will traverse through four climatic zones; tropical rain forest, moorland (grasslands and shrubs), desert and glacial. They will have to pack clothing for each zone if they hope to make it to the summit, which consists of two peaks and is glacial, meaning of course snow and ice.

That is probably the most dangerous part. Since soap operas no longer have the huge operating budgets they did in the seventies to film on location, the scenes will likely have been filmed at various locations within the state of California, since General Hospital films in Hollywood, which also has the same four climatic zones, if they make the scenes realistic at all!

General Hospital Spoilers– Will Kim Get Hurt On The Hike?

Down-the-road spoilers for next week have Drew tending to Kim, but it’s too soon to tell whether this refers to the summer spoiler of Kim taking actions to work through her grief that profoundly affect both Drew and Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) lives, or if Kim injures herself during the climb!
