General Hospital Spoilers: Cynthia Watros Debuts As Nina Reeves

General Hospital is preparing for yet another face swap! This time around actress Cynthis Watros will be taking over as the new Nina Reeves from Michelle Stafford. And according to Cynthia herself, she’s already hit the ground running. She also says that her return to daytime television wasn’t as dramatic as some people are making it out to be.

As a matter of fact, all she had to do was pick up one very important phone call from the producers of General Hospital. Cynthia told ABC Soaps in Depth in an interview, “How I got back – it sounds very not dramatic – was a phone call.”

She also said that it’s great to be back on daytime television, however, if there is one show that will always remain very special for her, it’s Guiding Light, where she played a very crazy and deranged Annie. Cynthia explained that the soap “will always be in my heart because I had such a good time doing it. And I was on The Young and the Restless as Kelly and Another World as Vicky for half a second so daytime has always been in my life and in my world.”

Cynthia also says that she spent some time getting to know actress Michelle Stafford, who left her role as Nina behind to take on her new one as Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless. The two got to bond over their shared role. After all, Nina Reeves is a character that is important to both of them.

The blonde beauty added, “To be able to sit across from her and talk about Nina and the show, I just was in awe of her generosity. Nina has all this stuff I can’t wait to play. Her life is going really well right now, but what happens when her life doesn’t go really well? I can’t wait until everything comes to life!”

With that said, we can’t wait to see Cynthia make her debut on General Hospital. Fans have been told to look out for her as she will soon appear as Nina any day now.
