General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Gets Closer To Kevin – Real Romance In The Works?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will continue to get closer to Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) in spite of herself, because of the obvious resemblance to his twin, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and the fact that the man who she thought she fell in love with WAS Kevin! General Hospital viewers will recall Kevin already warned her against getting too close and letting their fake romance get real to her in Friday’s episode, but Ava may simply not be able to avoid it!

No matter how tough Ava appears to be, right now she is emotionally vulnerable. It was that vulnerability that Ryan kept taking advantage of and honed in on Ava’s wanting to be loved and accepted for herself, without having to change herself for someone else.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Is Vulnerable After Ryan

Even though Ryan is a sociopath, Ava did touch him in places that no one else had; but then when Ava failed to live up to his expectations by trying to get him to save Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) at Niagara Falls instead of leaving her to die, when trapped by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he attempted murder-suicide by trying to pull Ava over the bridge with him! Ava chose life with the help of Jason!

Ava was so overwhelmed by the attentions of Ryan that she failed to see his faults or see him for who he really is, and now she sees in Kevin qualities she thought she saw in Ryan that may have been faked by Ryan in the process of impersonating Kevin! She tried to explain this to Kevin, and apologized, but Kevin laid down the law, told him he was in love with his wife, and if there was any more over the top romantic behavior when it was not for show, that he would shut down the plan right then and there!

Ava will have a terribly fine line to try to walk emotionally, trying to fake a romantic relationship with Kevin while wanting to have one and not being able to at the same time!
