General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Challenges Carly – Is She Worried Ryan Could Get To Avery?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will put Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) up to some kind of challenge this week on General Hospital. Could she be challenging her over custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) again?

Maybe Ava feels security at the Corinthos compound is not adequate to prevent Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) from gaining entrance and access to little Avery, should he attempt to kidnap her. Ava by now has been well schooled in Ryan’s history by Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner), and knows that he came back not only for Felicia, but also her children.

General Hospital viewers know Ava is out for blood, where Ryan is concerned. She is probably embarrassed she didn’t seen through him, but then she didn’t know his twin Dr. Kevin Collins that well, so she could not have picked up on any subtle differences.

General Hospital Spoilers – Was Julian Jerome Using Reverse Psychology?

Even people like Felicia, who knew both brothers were fooled, have encouraged Ava not to blame herself for his taking advantage of her. Her brother Julian Jerome (William DeVry) probably didn’t help Ava.

He told her the only reason she wanted Ryan alive so she could kill him was to shift the blame for her daughter Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) death from herself. But maybe he was just trying to use reverse psychology on her.

In reality, killing Ryan won’t bring Kiki back and won’t atone for her angry last words to Kiki. But if Ava could come to the point of forgiving herself without making excuses for the ugly words, that would go a long way toward healing her pain and grief. However, it is true that Ava should not blame herself for Ryan’s terrible choices.

General Hospital Spoilers – Strangling Not An Option For Ryan Chamberlain

Ava may also have the intention of challenging Carly to learn to defend herself and learn to shoot a gun, if she doesn’t know how already, just in case Ryan should show up with the intention of finishing off Carly.

The truth is, a one-handed man may be much easier to fight off than a two-handed one. Unless he’s gone the way of Captain Hook and wants to use his hook as his new weapon. At least strangling is no longer an option for Ryan.

The police should be checking anywhere Ryan could get a prosthetic hand under an assumed name, or maybe they should request assistance from the WSB, since it may now be an international case!
