General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Explains To Lulu Why Dante Had To Leave

General Hospital spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may want to help Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) understand her husband Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) problems, and why he had to leave.

Dante doesn’t seem to be the best at explaining difficult things to Lulu, especially when they relate to torture and brainwashing, but then he’s not himself. A pre-Turkey Dante may have been a little more sensitive than telling her he can’t be at home and shouldn’t have come back, to begin with.

That’s hard for a wife to hear, especially when before he left they had been arguing a lot about her job. But then it would be hard for a husband to tell his wife he doesn’t feel safe around her and the kids because he’d been brainwashed as well.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Protecting Dante Falconeri’s Family

Anna told Dante she thought he should leave for the facility in Wales right away. That was to protect Dante and Lulu and their children. Even though Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) may have the training to deprogram Dante, Dante still needs to be in a secure facility where he can be restrained if necessary if he’s triggered.

And Kevin’s probably going to be on work leave or suspension. Besides, the type of brainwashing and programming that Dante was subjected too is much different than simple memory implantation like Ryan performed on Lulu via hypnotic suggestion. A full treatment for brainwashing, especially combined with obvious torture, as witnessed by the scars on Dante’s back, is a much longer process and more involved.

Anna fully understands what’s involved and what it will take to make Dante right again, and be able to explain it to Lulu. She will also explain why she told him he needed to leave for the treatment program in Wales right away.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Falconeri Will Be Lonely But OK

Plus, as a woman and a mother, Anna should be able to relate to Lulu and vice versa. They should be able to communicate with each other in a manner that would not be so harsh, as possibly Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) would deliver the news to Lulu, being a man.

Most men prefer to stick to the facts and not worry a lot about how the facts are received by the person on the other end. It will be hard on Lulu, but once she understands this is the best for Dante as well as for her and the kids, she’ll be lonely without him, but OK.
