As the new year begins on General Hospital, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will take a long hard look at what’s going on with Mike (Mike Corbin). It’s been hard for him to separate the reality from the emotion.
Sonny believed that they could find a way to put their differences aside and build their relationship back, but it isn’t looking like that is a possibility anymore. Time is running out for them.
Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) will worry his time is running out as another murder rocks Port Charles. The residents are getting scared as it’s clear that the murderer is continuing his reign of terror. The question on everyone’s mind is who the next victim will be. It puts Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) loved ones at risk as they continue to ask why he is behaving so strangely.
The one person he needs to keep in the dark about his murder spree is Ava (Maura West). It would be the shock of her life as it won’t take her long to figure out that he is responsible for Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) murder.

The baby-swapping storyline will last most of the year. It will spill out on multiple storylines as the pieces start to come together. Julian (William DeVry) will face consequences for the knowledge he has about the night Nelle went into labor.
Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) last two weddings were called off. However, marriage is in their future. For Franco, he will realize that he’s a part of a family and he is loved and needed.
