General Hospital Rumor: Will Peter Finish What He Started And Kill The Gunman?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will need to finish what he started and kill the gunman he hired to kill Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) in a recent episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August Hired A Goon To Kill Dr. Andre Maddox And Franco Baldwin Fearing Franco Would Become More Drew Cain

As General Hospital viewers will recall, Peter hired a goon (unnamed character and actor) to kill Dr. Andre Maddox before he could perform the memory transfer reversal procedure on Franco that hopefully would remove all of Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories and reveal Franco’s own memories and personality, since Andre figured Drew’s may just be overlaying them since there was no evidence that they were removed, as Drew’s had been.

Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had listened to Andre tell what the possibilities were for the procedure, which was experimental at best, when they were all over at Peter’s mother, Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house for Thanksgiving. Andre said there was a possibility that the procedure may not bring Franco’s memories back but give him more of Drew’s, and Peter feared that he would remember how much more he was involved in his kidnapping out of Afghanistan and working for Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). But then, after a long talk with Anna, in which she encouraged him that he wasn’t his father and had changed, he had an attack of conscience and tried to call off the hit!

GH Spoilers – Peter August Was Not Able To Reach The Hitman And Went To the Operating Room

Peter was not able to reach the hitman, and so he went to the operating room where Andre was performing the procedure on Franco; he got there just in time, finding Andre unconscious and the hitman ready to shoot. Peter wrestled the gun out of the hitman’s hand, removed the silencer and shot the hitman, later throwing away the gun and the silencer in a garbage can after wiping it off very well so prints could not be found.

The only problem Peter was left with is that the gunman wasn’t dead! Peter was viewed as a hero, with the gunman unconscious and in surgery. But if the gunman survives then Peter has another problem; the gunman will obviously throw him under the bus to get a deal with the district attorney – if he survives the surgery! Peter would not be able to get away with joining the surgeons and sabotaging the surgery, so he will have to come up with another plan to silence the hitman.

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August May Do Something Similar To What He Did To Cause His Father’s Death

Peter may do something similar to what he did to cause his father’s death, when he was recovering from being shot by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). When Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was in his hospital room recovering, Peter went and confronted him and basically scared him to death, causing a heart attack – and taking the call button away out of his reach. He may not be able to scare the gunman into a heart attack, but he definitely could sabotage medical devices he may be hooked up to, such as oxygen or something else that might be keeping him alive after surgery!
