General Hospital spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), if he does survive Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) stab wound to the back, might try to plea bargain with his kidney once he finds out he could be a match for Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
Technically, since his identical twin Kevin Collins (also Jon Lindstrom) was a match, he would be too. Kevin, however, had developed prediabetes, which excluded him from donating to Jordan even though he was a match. And of course, Ryan would need to be tested to exclude any conditions that would keep him from donating.
But as General Hospital viewers know, Ryan is just arrogant enough to think he can leverage the justice system by refusing to donate his kidney unless he’s set free afterward. Now, that is not going to happen. However, a plea bargain that sends him to a mental institution instead of prison might be something he’d agree to. After all, he has had no problem escaping from mental institutions!
General Hospital Spoilers – Faked His Death Many Times Before
Of course, he’d more than likely be kept in straight-jackets and possibly sedated. That was the only thing that kept him from escaping Ferncliff before he overpowered Kevin and switched places with him. Ryan had escaped mental institutions and faked his death many times before, as Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) noted in a recent episode of General Hospital.
Jordan, as General Hospital viewers know, needs a kidney as soon as possible since her underlying heart condition that was recently discovered won’t allow her to keep undergoing dialysis for very much longer.
It seems to be in the cards that if kidney failure doesn’t kill her, then heart failure will. While Ryan could never fully redeem himself by agreeing to donate a kidney, he might get off easier. Then he would be in a position to escape and wreak havoc, murder, and mayhem again.
General Hospital Spoilers – Will He Survive His Stab Wound?
Plea bargaining a kidney for Jordan might be the way for Ryan to achieve that goal. That is, if he survives the stab wound and his kidneys aren’t compromised.
However, there is another General Hospital villainess who had escaped many mental institutions over the years. And Ryan may not bargain on encountering her. And the last time she made trouble she was put in a mental institution called D’Archam, and she has not been able to escape.

Ryan would likely go to the same one, and if Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) finds out Ryan tried to kill her son, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), Ryan might not escape prison justice mental hospital style from her if she decides to go all Mama Bear on him!
