General Hospital Recap Wednesday, July 3: Sonny Bribes His Aunt – Franco Proposes

Welcome to your Wednesday, July 3rd General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at the office of Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) where Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is waiting outside. The door opens and her daughter Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) exits the office. Alexis says it’s nice to see her, cause she’s been so busy working.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) calls Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and says he’s working on getting Dev citizen status. Her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) interrupts and asks her what’s happening?

At Charlie’s Pub, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) enters with her grandson Cameron Webber (William Lipton). His mother Elizabeth Webber (Rebeca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) are waiting at a table. Laura says he did a good job setting up the tables for the fireworks display.

GH Spoilers Dev and Josslyn Jacks Butt heads

In the Corinthos kitchen, Carly asks Josslyn to help cut up some vegetables. Dev asks Josslyn if she is still mad at him? Jossly says she can’t cut carrot sticks right and she is still mad at him. Dev says he does not believe she is able to reach her dead boyfriend Oscar. Dev says Josslyn does not appreciate the privileges that she has.

Carly interrupts and explains to Josslyn why Sonny wants to keep Dev in the country.

General Hospital Spoilers Scotty proposes to Bobbie

At General Hospital (GH) Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) asks Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman) to marry him. He says there was a time that they were more than just friends back in the day. Bobbie asks him if he is insane and if this is a pity proposal? Bobbie jokes that he has lost his mind and he says that things are making sense to him now. Scotty compares the two of them to a comfortable old worn shoe.

He backtracks and says he is seeing the end of the road more often these days. He thinks they would be a great team for the rest of their lives. Bobbie says every time they tried to be together its ended up a disaster. Scotty scoots away and Bobbie meets up with Carly. She explains about the marriage proposal.

GH Recap Alexis Davis Sees Dr. Byrne

Outside of Dr Byrne’s office, Kristina explains to her mother Alexis that she has not been avoiding her. She says she still feels guilty about the pledge and secret she shared with Shiloh Archer. Alexis tells Dr Byrne that she did not realize Kristina’s appointment times had moved. She tells him that Kristina has been very distant and she can’t figure out why.

Alexis mentions Oscar passing and how hard it is for someone who has lost a child. She says she knows that he understands about that kind of pain. He wonders what she means and she says she knows he lost a child in 2014. He gets mad and says he can no longer treat her, she needs to get out.

General Hospital Recap Kristina Corinthos Davis Visits Willow Tait

At the Port Charles jail, Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) stops by to visit Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Kristina says that she owes her for saving her life from DOD. Willow explains that she can’t let Shiloh find her son.

GH Cameron Webber Acts Up

At Charlie’s Pub, Franco says to Cameron that he can now be at their wedding reception. Cameron says he’s not bringing a date to the reception and no one would want to come anyway. Laura asks Cameron privately what’s wrong with him? Franco says to Elizabeth that he just not know where he stands with Cameron now.

Laura says she notices how short he is being with his new stepfather Franco. She realizes he has had a lot of father figures and all of them have let him down. Laura explains that relationships with parents are very complicated and he needs to try and accept Franco.

General Hospital Sonny Corinthos meets up with his Aunt

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) meets up with his Aunt at a coffee shop. She says she has not heard from the family in ages and is surprised he reached out. She says she read up on his antics and he’s one of the big mobsters in the country. Sonny says this is about her grandson, she says he does not have one as he pushes an envelope towards her.

She asks Sonny what all this money is for and he explains about Dev. She needs to lie to the government for him, but she says this envelope isn’t big enough

Wednesday Surprises

Alexis brings up Dr. Byrne’s daughter that died and she says he’s taking his grief out on her.
Scotty tells Franco that he failed at the wedding proposal and Franco says he’s going about it all wrong.

Carly tells Bobbie that she hopes she takes a chance at love again. Scotty runs into them and apologizes to Bobbie, he asks her to be his date at Franco’s reception.

Dev and Josslyn argue and Cameron enters, asking her to his parent’s wedding reception. Sonny convinces Mike’s relative to take the money and lie for him …flash to preview
