General Hospital Recap Tuesday, July 16: Peter Recovers From Shooting – Lulu Blasts Maxie

 Welcome to your Tuesday, July 16th General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at General Hospital (GH) where Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is explaining to Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) that Dante shot Peter. She does not think he knew who he was shooting and he’s in big trouble.

At General Hospital, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is awake in a hospital bed being tended by Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Finn asks how he is feeling and he says he’s in pain, but glad he does not need surgery.

At Charlie’s Pub, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) walks in and tells someone to come to meet him. Julian Jerome (William DeVry) greets him and asks to what does he owe this pleasure.

Outside of Charlies Pub, Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) is holding the toy bunny and thinking about her almost assault on Drew Cain (Billy Miller).

Curtis Ashford and Drew Cain discuss some issues

At the Aurora office, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) walks into Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) office and says they have some delicate issues to discuss. Curtis asks Drew if he’s going to tell him who drugged him on the Haunted Star? Curtis is angry and wants to know why Drew is keeping what happened a secret.

Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) enters and Drew is shocked to see her. Drew asks what is she doing there and she explains she is the CFO of Aurora media. Hayden says that she is sorry for the loss of his son.

Jasper Jax and Nina Reeves discuss business

At Crimson, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is sharing the advertising sales figures with Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher). Jax asks Nina about Valentin and how it is that he managed to inherit all of the Cassadine fortunes. Nina says “you already know everything there is to know about my husband.”

Nina says she thinks it’s odd that he only just learned who Valentin is. Curtis stops by her office and Nina says he has been keeping secrets from his friends.

Ava Jerome meets with her Psychic

Ava Jerome (Maura West) arrives at a location to meet with Sibley the psychic who is going to connect her with Kiki again. Sibley comes out of the darkness and spooks Ava as they prepare for the séance. Aba tells the psychic that the General Hospital (GH) was a special place for Kiki and that’s why they are on the roof.

Sibley explains that she is going to channel Kiki, which means she will be talking directly to her. Sibley closes her eyes and a moment later opens them – saying “hello mother it’s me.”

Maxie Jones and Lulu Falconeri argue about Dante

Lulu Falconeri says she knew Dante was in trouble but didn’t realize how bad it was. Maxie apologizes and explains why she was at the WSB trying to see Dante. Lulu screams at Maxie that she possibly ruined Dante’s recovery process.

Peter August recovers from the shooting

Finn says he wants to call Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and tell her what happened. Peter says no because it will just cause unnecessary worry. Finn says keeping the shooting from Anna is a big mistake, he’s his own worst enemy.

Lulu enters Peter’s hospital room and says she is glad he’s okay.

Robert Scorpio butts heads with Julian Jerome

Roberts jokes about Julian being allowed to tend bar and Julian says he owns the place. Robert reminds Julian of what a terrible person he used to be and probably still is, always will be a criminal. Kim enters the bar and Julian asks her how the will reading went. She says it was tough, but that she met with her psychiatrist and explained what happened with Drew.

Finn shows up at Charlie’s pub and updates Robert on the status of Peter.

Tuesday Drama

Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) shows up at GH and Lulu runs into her arms crying. Lulu explains what Maxie and Peter did at the WSB.

Maxie finds Lulu and apologizes again for what happened with Dante, she accepts the apology this time. Robert tells Finn that he wonders if Hayden has another agenda for coming back to Port Charles. Drew tells Jax that he needs to watch his back and wallet with Hayden Barnes.

The psychic channels Kiki and speaks directly to Ava, telling her things that only the two of them would know. “Kiki,” says she never ever wants to be in contact with her again, shocking a sad Ava. Ava asks the psychic to channel Nikolas, but she says she does not feel his presence on “the other side…….flash to preview
