General Hospital Recap Thursday ,October 17: Ryan is still obsessed with Ava – Lucas is suspicious – Jason knows who blamed Sam

Welcome to your Thursday, October 17th General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at Pentonville where Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) has a magazine photo of Ava Jerome (Maura West) on his wall. In his head, he is discussing the excitement and joy of sending her handwritten letters.

At General Hospital (GH), Kevin Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) tells Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) that he has to go to Shadybrook to check if Franco is stable enough for the procedure.

At Shadybrook, Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) comes in to visit Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and say the y found the black box, Drew is dead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cameron Webber and Elizabeth Webber prepare for the hearing

In his office, Scoot Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is preparing for the inevitable questions that will arrive at the competency hearing. Scott is extra tough on him about his relationship with Franco. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) gets angry and defends the Franco he knew – not the alter personality of Drew Cain. Cameron gets angry when he hears that Kim hired Frankendrew’s lawyer.

GH Spoilers – Lucas Jones is suspicious of his husband Brad Cooper

At Charlie’s Pub, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) comes in to see his husband Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) who questions his whereabouts earlier that day. Lucas says he knows that Brad was at Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) bail hearing.

Brad says she has no friends and he wanted to support her, but Lucas says he caught him in a lie. Lucas wonders why he lied about the parole hearing and wonders why hes seeing a psychiatrist.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome is feeling depressed

Outside Charlie’s Pub, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is staring sadly into space when her brother Julian Jerome (William DeVry) approaches and asks if she’s okay. Julian invites her inside to talk and she wants a martini. He thinks it’s a bit too early in the day for that.

Julian wonders if she’s getting enough sleep, but Ava says when she sleeps, she thinks of Ryan and Kiki. Julian can’t believe that Ava went to see Ryan at Pentonville. Sonny shows up and Ava leaves, he asks Julian if he’s really staying in town.

GH Spoilers – Laura Spencer runs into Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan

Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) congratulates Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) on the birth of his daughter Donna. She also tells Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) how sorry she is to hear about Sam being locked up. Laura says she does not agree with the charges, but it’s a federal jurisdiction issue.

Laur and Kevin discuss the search for the will and she wonders if she will ever find what they need.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason and Sonny wonder how they will free Sam

At the Metro Court bar, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) says she knows a way to get Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) free. He says the same man who blamed Sam is the same one who stabbed Dr Maddox.

GH Spoilers – Kim Nero deals with Drew’s death

Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) is sad that the Drew she knew is dead. Frankendrew tries to console a visibly upset Kim and blames himself for what happened. Kim tells Franco not to blame himself for what happened and to stay strong for the hearing.

Kim leaves and Kevin shows up to evaluate Franco before the hearing. At General Hospital (GH) Kim runs into Cameron who wants to talk privately.

At Pentonville, Ryan continues to talk to the picture of Ava telling her how perfect she is. Ryan seals another envelope which is a special delivery letter for Ava

GH Spoilers – Thursday dilemmas

Jason goes to the prison to talk to the guy who is implicating Sam. He lists all the things the man has done – stabbing Andre, Messing with Drews plane and releasing Shiloh.

Brad apologizes to Lucas for wanting to help Nelle, but Lucas does not want to hear it.

At the Metro Court, Ava orders a martini and Laura walks over to join her. Ava tries to get her to go away but Laura insists on chatting with her. They cry and hold hands as a mysterious figure watches from the stairwell.

Kevin grills Franco about who he used to be, he will always be an artist and not actually Drew. Sonny tells Julian that Olivia is family and he knows he will do the “right thing’ by her.

Cameron confronts Kim and tells her that she can’t take Franco away from his family. Bryce goes into a prison cell with Ryan, he mentions how hot Ava’s picture is as Ryan looks at him menacingly………flash to preview
