General Hospital Recap Thursday, January 3: Sam and Jason Are Suspicious of Hank - Gail Baldwin DiesGeneral Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, January 3, 2019, reveals Lucy (Lynn Herring) is looking back at Port Charles a year ago. Lucy tries to get everyone to help her to rebrand Port Charles.

GH Spoilers Lucy Produces A Travel Guide

Lucy talks to Monica (Leslie Charleston), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Sonny (Maurice Benard), Sam (Kelly Monaco), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Scotty (Kin Shriner), Jason (Steve Burton), and Julian (William DeVry). Everyone has turned her down for her project. Sonny finally helps to get Lucy out of his hair, and her travel guide is now on display. Maxie and Lucy talk about her doing an article in Crimson.

Maxie takes a copy of the travel guide to browse through. Lucy wants Maxie to set up a book signing for the travel guide. Maxie tells Lucy that isn’t something Crimson usually does. Maxie invites Lucy to go to the self-defense class with her.

General Hospital Spoilers Sonny Offers Chet A Job

General Hospital’s Sonny has Mike (Max Gail) at the gym trying to distract him from Yvonne (Janet Hubert). Mike asks Sonny how long this is going to take. Sonny tells Mike they have to get ready for swimsuit season. Mike tells Sonny he’s fine, asks Yvonne. Mike wants to stop by and see Yvonne so he can find out if she liked her Christmas present. Sonny and Mike are boxing when Chet (Chris Van Etten) comes into the gym. Chet gives Mike tips to help his back, and they discuss tattoos.

Mike and Chet were from the same fort, years apart. Chet and Mike talk for a while, Sonny thanks him for talking to Mike about the service. Sonny offers Chet a job managing the gym. Drew and Curtis go to the gym. Curtis tells Drew about the crime scene, and the body at the Metrocourt and Drew tells Curtis about his blast from the past and questions if it’s a good thing. Chet tells Maxie about his new job working for Sonny, and she tells him not to take a promotion to work at the coffee house.

GH Spoilers Stella And Marcus Butt Heads

General Hospital’s Stella (Vernee Watson) arrives at Turning Woods with a gift for Yvonne from Mike. Yvonne greets Marcus (Nigel Gibbs) and asks how Yvonne is; he wants to know if she or Mike wants to know. Stella tells Marcus she heard about Mike and Yvonne leaving the facility alone Marcus tells Stella that people don’t see adults that are wandering around alone.

Marcus says that no one paid attention enough to stop Mike from luring Yvonne away. Marcus tells Stella he will take care of Yvonne in another way. Stella suggests that Marcus talks to a therapist, but he only wants to talk to his wife. Marcus is filling out papers to take Yvonne home with him. Stella questions Marcus’ decision, and he tells her she gave up that right years ago. Stella tells Mike and Sonny that Marcus is moving Yvonne out of Turning Woods. Sonny goes to speak to Marcus about Yvonne and Mike.

General Hospital Sam and Jason Meet Shiloh

General Hospital’s Sam and Jason show up at the house where Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) is staying, and she introduces them to Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Jason looks at him and asks Shiloh with a questioning look. Sam asks if Jason knows him, Jason knows he’s lying. Kristen asks Jason what the hell he is doing, she just moved in, and Jason is confronting Shiloh. Jason says he is lying; he said Drew knew him as Hank (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Hank says he is at a disadvantage when it comes to Sam; he doesn’t know who she is.

Kristina introduces Sam as her sister and Drew’s ex-wife. Hank tells Sam he’s sure she understands about changing names when you change lives, Sam looks at Jason. Hank tells Sam and Jason they are welcome anytime, Kristina says if they stop being rude. Sam asks Hank if he spoke to Drew, he says yes and Drew told him about the accident, and it’s a shame because Drew saved his life. Kristina says Drew hasn’t remembered anything since she came to Port Charles. Hank says Drew saved his life literally and figuratively and he plans to repay that. Jason asked what exactly Drew did to save him; Hank says it is in his book.

Hank shows Jason his book and invites him to read it. Sam asks if he’s not a little young to be writing his memoirs. Hank says it is a confessional. Hank tells Sam things about the group Dawn of Day. Kristina talks about the group rebuilding houses on Charles Street. Kristina tells Hank that Oscar is Drew’s son. Hank wasn’t aware of that, but Oscar was trying to make it on his own, so they found a spot for him there. Sam doesn’t understand how they can take in people that can’t pay rent.

Kristina accuses Sam of being a bitch, and Hank says Sam’s questions are valid. Hank says he funds Dawn of Day with his money; he is a life coach. Hank has a sinister smile as Sam and Jason leave. Hank tells Kristina that she brought the anger toward Sam and Jason with her, they didn’t bring it. Hank tells Sam they can teach her how to deal with the anger if she stays around. Sam and Jason arrive home. Jason says they got a good look a the living conditions. Jason says its too good to be true; Sam says neither good or true.

GH Scotty Tells Monica About Gail

General Hospital’s Scotty shows up at the hospital to speak to Monica. Monica thinks it’s about a lawsuit; he has bad news for her. Monica tells Liz that she is taking off the rest of the day and isn’t taking phone calls. Kim says something must be wrong, Liz tells her Monica is very private and will tell them when she’s ready. Kim misplaces her phone, Liz finds it and asks about her and Julian. Kim tells Liz that Julian broke up with her. Liz says Kim and Julian were good together and asked if Julian thinks he can do better than Kim.

Scotty and Monica go to talk about Gail. Scotty tells Monica he got a call two days ago and went to Florida to be with Gail when her nurse said she wasn’t going to make it. Scotty and Serena (Ex-Carly Schroeder) were there, Monica wishes she could have been there too. Monica doesn’t know where she would be without Gail’s guidance. Lucy joins Monica and Scotty talking about Gail (Susan Brown) and Lila (Anna Lee) spending time together every week. Lucy asks who gave Gail the most heartache, they all agree it was Tracy (ex-Jane Elliot). Alexis joins them and offers her condolences. Gail’s will contains a request that involves many people.

General Hospital Alexis Believes There Is Hope For Julian

General Hospital’s Alexis is at the pub, Julian tells her Kristina isn’t working today. Alexis assures Julian she isn’t spying on Kristina. Alexis tells Julian she is meeting a client. Alexis tells Julian that Jordan is about to release information that there is a serial killer and all three murders are connected.

Alexis would have thought Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) would want Ava (Maura West) to know first and expected she would have told him. Julian tells Alexis he and Kim broke up. Julian tells Alexis she is the only one he has told about their split. Julian tells Alexis he doesn’t want to talk about it. Alexis tells Julian whatever happened between him and Kim can’t be that bad, maybe there is home for them.

Kim And Drew Are Affected By Their Kiss

Kim and Liz talk about Julian and his issues with her spending time with Oscar. Kim tells Liz its more about Julian seeing her kissing Drew. Drew and Curtis talk about the kiss while Kim tells Liz that Julian cheated on her. Curtis asks Drew why the kiss needs to be sorted out if it was just about New Year’s Eve.
