General Hospital Recap Thursday August 1: Nina’s Dinner Party Disaster – Alexis and Neil Bond

Welcome to your Thursday August 1st General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day in Puerto Rico, where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) are chatting with Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck.) He says that he recognizes her from the Metro Court in Port Charles. She says she wanted to meet with Sonny regarding her import/export business.

At Wyndemere, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) realizes he does not recall which drink has the truth serum in it. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) says he will need to stop her from talking if she took it.

Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) is looking for Valentin’s office when the housekeeper catches her snooping.At Lulu’s house, she is drunk and blabbering when the doorbell rings. Her mom Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) comes in and sees the empty wine bottle.

At the Metro Court, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is calling Puerto Rico to see how Michael is doing on his date. Sonny takes the phone away and tells her to leave them be, he says ‘my island my rules.”

General Hospital Spoiler – Alexis Davis and Neil Byrne are trapped

At the Metro Court. Alexis Davis and Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) get trapped in the elevator when the power goes out. Neil and Alexis try to get out of the elevator, but there is no budging the door. Neil says he has to get out because there is some where he must be. He explains that his daughter 5 years ago that very night.

Alexis asks about his daughter and he explains the awful cult that Joanne was apart of. He explains that she committed suicide by overdose.

GH Spoiler – Michael Corinthos and Sasha Gilmore see Cassandra Pierce in Puerto Rico

Cassandra mentions how beautiful the weather is and Sasha mentions a big storm back home. They being up Nina’s dinner party and guests which piques Cassandra’s interest. Cassandra asks them both to join her for breakfast in the morning.

General Hospital Spoiler – Power goes out in the Metro Court

The power has gone out at the Metro Court and Carly announces that dinner is free and they can order the extensive wine list. Carly calls the power company to see what is happening with the hotel generator. Carly catches Dev with the champagne and caviar, he says he picked the lock.

GH Spoiler – Nina’s Reeves dinner party goes off the rails

Hayden insists to the housekeeper that she must have gotten lost. Jax says to Nina he is concerned about a set of Crimson stories on dangerous women. The housekeeper brings Hayden to the living room and says that she “lost her way.” Hayden says she was not lost at all, she was actually snooping.

Hayden says that she was looking for the diamonds that she had lost in the castle years ago. Hayden walks up to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and says she has never stopped thinking about him. Jax says that he’s wondering how Hayden got so drunk?

General Hospital Spoiler – Laura Spencer Comforts Lulu Falconeri

Laura takes the wine away and gives her some tea instead. Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) starts crying about Dante and the divorce. Laura says that Lulu needs to learn to respect that just maybe Dante is doing what is best for them all.

GH Spoiler – Thursday Surprises

Nina tells Jax that there is something she just does not trust about him. Sasha and Michael make love instead of going on the moonlight cruise.

Alexis and Neil bong over his daughter and sing rock a bye baby til the power comes back on. Casandra makes a phone call and says that her cover has been compromised. Sonny offers Dev a new job working with him at the coffee business.

Hayden tells Finn that she still thinks about him and he says she broke him when she left. The storm passed by and Finn leaves to get a boat back to Port Charles. Hayden and Jax leave while Nina and Valentin begin to make love………flash to preview
