General Hospital Recap, Monday, June 17: Maxie Hunts Down Dante –Kim And Drew Return Home –Laura Asks Mac To Be Commissioner — Cynthia Watros Debuts As Nina

Welcome to your Monday, June 17 General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at the Metro Court bar where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) says he has a proposal for Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher.)

At General Hospital (GH), Nina Reeves (now played by Cynthia Watros) sees Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and asks how his wife Jordan Ashford (Brianne Nicole Henry) is doing. Nina says he does not seem happy even though the surgery was successful. He explains that the surgery is done, but now they need to figure out a way to pay for it.

Also, at General Hospital (GH), Jordan Ashford (Brianne Nicole Henry) is recovering in her room. Her doctor Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) tells her the infection is gone and she is no longer his patient. Jordan asks Finn how Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is doing.

At Kelly’s Diner, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is asking her dad Mac Scorpio (John York) how is he going to “pull this off.” Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) approaches and says she needs his help.

GH Spoilers– Maxie’s Determined To Find Dante

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is eating a pie at Kelly’s when Maxie Jones begins to question why he is not eating cake? She wishes he had mentioned to her that he prefers pie for dessert. They awkwardly ask each other what they wanted to be when they were kids. Then Maxie suddenly gets a text and takes off, leaving Peter confused.

At the Floating Rib, Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) are setting up balloons and such for Peter’s surprise birthday. Maxie arrives and frets about the fact that Peter likes pie and not cake.

General Hospital Spoilers– Kim And Drew Return Home

Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller) arrive back in Port Charles from their trip to Kilimanjaro. Drew says he needs to buy her groceries, but she pushes back and says it’s not necessary. Drew says she needs to eat and she says all they have is time.

Drew says he’s leaving and is hoping that she gets a good night’s sleep. There’s a knock at the door and Julian Jerome (William DeVry) arrives at the apartment with food. Kim talks about the journey and how it went.

At the Corinthos mansion, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) sets up some candles and a picture of Oscar. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) arrive at the back door and wonder if she’s throwing a party. Josslyn explains that she is going to reach out to Oscar from the beyond, they are going to have a séance.

New Nina Reeves Debuts On GH

At General Hospital (GH) Curtis reveals his fears of the cost of the medical bills to Nina Reeves – now played by (Cynthia Watros). Nina is shocked that the medical bills are so expensive, even with the surgery covered. She right away offers to cover all the expenses which Curtis says no, he’s got this. In Jordan’s room at GH, she questions Ryan’s recovery and how he is doing.

Nina see an opportunity to step in and be Curtis' best person. But will he accept the help she's offering?

At the Metro Court bar, Valentin Cassadine praises Jasper Jax for his smart business dealings. Valentin says he wants to buy Jax’s half of Aurora media. Jax concludes that he only wants to do this in order to get him away from Nina Cassadine, Valentin says “You are absolutely right.”

General Hospital Spoilers– Laura Asks Mac To Be Take Over Jordan’s Job

Laura asks Mac to be the police commissioner temporarily while Jordan is recovering. Mac is stunned but is happy to do the favor for a friend.

Peter comes over and tells Mac that he needs to put a stop to the surprise birthday party.

Drew stops by the hospital and asks Curtis to come work for him at Aurora. Peter shows up at the Floating Rib and there is a surprise party waiting for him.

A very sad Kim tells Julian she’s not sure what to do next, the love for a child is indescribable. Josslyn, Trina, and Cameron begin the seance and reach out to Oscar. They think they hear a noise and all rush outside where they don’t see anything. They go back inside and you can see someone is watching from the window….flash to preview…
