General Hospital Recap Monday July 8: Ava Gets A Shock – Obrecht Attacked – Kim Drugs Drew

Welcome to your Monday July 8th General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at the Metro Court where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) greets Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) with a passionate kiss. Valentin takes a call from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) who tells him that Jax has a file on him and Cassandra Pierce.

Nina sees Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and goes to greet him. He inquires who the lady that Ava is meeting with.

Also at the Metro Court, Ava Jerome (Maura West) has met up with a psychic who is explaining how she works. She says she’s a clairvoyant and will help her reach Kiki Jerome.

General Hospital Recap – The wedding reception begins

On the Haunted Star, the setting for Liz and Franco’s wedding reception – Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) says Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) needs to work on his dance moves. Epiphany asks him where Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is and he says she’s on a mission involving her sister.

Drew Cain (Billy Miller) enters the ship and greets Terry Randolph (Cassandra James). She thanks him for coming and he says it’s good to have a happy distraction at this time. Drew asks if she’s spoken to Kim and she says she hasn’t seen her at work. Suddenly Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) appears with Julian Jerome (William DeVry).

GH Recap – Franco and Liz aka Friz start their party

Outside Elizabeth Spencer (Rebecca Herbst) room on the Haunted Star, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is banging on her door. Liz comes out of the bathroom, shuts the door and begins to seduce him. Franco and Liz are in bed when Cameron begins banging on the door.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kim and Julian arrive at the party

Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) greets Drew and Terry – she asks when she’s coming back to work. Kim says she doesn’t want to discuss work and they decide to just have a fun evening. Drew says to Julian that it seems like Kim is better, Julian disagrees.

Julian sees Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Brad explains that Shiloh knows about baby Wiley. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) overhears the secret.

GH Recap – Michael and Sasha hang out

At the Corinthos mansion, Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) are making popcorn for a night with Avery. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) enters the kitchen thinking that Devon must be in there. They question why Josslyn didn’t go to the wedding reception.

General Hospital – Cameron and Trina have a date

Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) arrive together at the Haunted Star for the party.

GH Recap – Kevin and Laura get a surprise at the party

Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) says to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) that she is happy to see Cameron brought a date to the party. They decide that they are only going to stick around for a few drinks. They notice Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) arriving together at the party.

Ava sees the psychic

Ava tells the psychic that she’s paying her to get real answers, not mumbo jumbo. The psychic says she has a message from Connie Falconeri (whom Ava killed) which freaks her out. Nina sees them and comes over and calls the psychic a total fraud.

A drunk Liesl cause trouble

Liesl sees Felix and stumbles over to him asking if hes there alone and hints she knows a secret. She wanders away and sees her niece Nina, who needs to talk to her.

General Hospital Recap – Serious Monday Drama

Cassandra welcomes in Franco and Liz to the reception, where they kiss and everyone claps. Cameron and his brothers play the guitar and he sings a song to the happy couple.

Ava arrives at the reception has brought the psychic with her. The psychic picks up on something and says Kiki is with them.

A drunk Liesl tells Franco the baby secret that she overheard, suddenly the ship goes dark. Liesl wanders out onto the ships deck and is shoved overboard!

Kim and Drew turn on the fuse box as she injects him with something. In the main room, the lights come on and in walks Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig)…flash to preview
