General Hospital Recap Monday, July 15: Danger for Maxie and Peter – Dev Caught Red-Handed

Welcome to your Monday, July 15th General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at General Hospital (GH) where Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) runs into Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) outside of an AA meeting. She recognizes he’s upset and garners it’s about Hayden Barnes 9Rebecca Budig being back in town.

At Charlie’s Pub, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) is telling his sister Ava Jerome (Maura West) how proud he is of her. He tells her that speaking her truth by doing the Crimson magazine cover and article is very brave.

At the Metro Court hotel, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) gets up from her table and Dev (Ashton Arbaba) enters, trying to steal her purse. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) grabs it from him before he can take it.

GH Recap Lulu Falconeri worries about Dante Falconeri

In Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Bernard) office, Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) relays to him that she is worried about her husband Dante Falconeri. Lulu begins to yell that he is missing out on every family activity and she feels like there is no steady ground.

Lulu explains that Dante did not share all the horrible things that happened to him.

General Hospital Recap Dev is caught red-handed

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) walks over and say that she needs Dev to work at the Metro Court for the summer as a busboy. Carly tells Jason that Dev saved Sonny’s life in Turkey and he’s now repaying the debt. Jason isn’t sure Dev can handle Port Charles and will end up being caught doing something illegal.

Jason tells Dev he saw him try and steal the purse.

GH Recap Laura Spencer and Hayden Barnes catch up

Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) sees Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and asks to sit down with “Madam Mayor.” Spencer texts Laura’s phone and Hayden asks how he is doing at boarding school. Laura says he is growing fast into a young man and he’s looking more and more like Nikolas every day.

Laura says Spencer is still angry at Valentin for stealing his home and fortune. Hayden explains that she is going to be working with Jax at Aurora Media doing finances.

General Hospital Recap Alexis Davis and Finn discuss Hayden Barnes

Finn tells Alexis that Hayden leaving was a huge dilemma for him and he feels like a failure now that she’s back. Finn explains how she saved his life when he was addicted to drugs and they have both moved on with other people.

Ava Jerome calls her psychic

At Charlie’s Pub, Ava Jerome (Maura West) sets up a meeting again with her psychic. Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) overhears the conversation and asks Ava about Sydney Gamble who is the psychic. Julian interrupts their conversation and asks what she is doing using mediums and psychics? He tries to convince her not to go through with it.

Ava says she felt Kiki’s spirit during the session in the stateroom – it seemed real to her. Ava heads out and runs right into Alexis who congratulates her on the magazine. Julian and Alexis discuss how it’s been hard to help Ava or Kim at this point.

Maxie Jones and Peter August run into danger

At the WSB headquarters, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) busts into a room to find Dante and a shot rings out. Peter Augusts (Wes Ramsey) screams out in pain and falls backward into the hallway. Maxie screams out for help as gunmen storm the general area.

Maxie and Peter arrive at General Hospital (GH) where she is screaming for a doctor to help. Finn arrives and realizes its Peter who has been shot.

Monday Surprises!

Finn asks Maxie what happened and she explains about the WSB and that Dante shot Peter. Finn attempts to calm her down and say that Peter will survive the shooting.

At Sonny’s office, Carly comes by to discuss Dev and how he may be more trouble than it’s worth. Jason tells Dev that the wallet he almost stole was the Mayor’s wallet, he needs to be more careful. Lulu shows up at the hospital and Maxie says that Dante is the one who shot Peter…….flash to preview
