General Hospital Recap Friday July 12: Maxie Creates Mayhem By Cornering Dante, Hayden Interrogated

Welcome to your Friday July 12th General Hospital (GH) recap! We begin our day at Sonny Corinthos’s office (Maurice Bernard) where he is coaching Dev (Ashton Arbaba) on his “background.”

In Nina Reeve’s (Cynthia Watros) office, she if on the phone when her boss Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher) enters. She thanks Jax for saving her Aunt Liesl’s life and then asks what his relationship is with Hayden Barnes.

At the Metro Court, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) approaches Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and says he needs to take her in for questioning.

As they leave, they run into Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and Lulu Falconeri Emme Rylan) and Hayden finds out she’s the mayor now. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) approaches and tells Lulu that he is there to pick up Dante’s slack, where Charlotte is concerned.

General Hospital Recap – Maxie and Peter try to reach Dante

At the WSB office in New York, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are planning to talk to Dante. Peter is nervous about the plan and Maxie tells him to calm down. A man from the WSB greets them and says that Dante does not care and will not see them.

General Hospital Recap – Jason and Sam discuss Shiloh

At the Port Charles Police Depmt., Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tells Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about the paternity test that Shiloh is taking. Mac Scorpio asks where Shiloh is because he wants to arrest him and they tell him he’s at General Hospital.

Finn and Hayden are long overdue for a conversation. Can they move past the way their relationship ended?

At Genral Hospital (GH), Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) receives the results of the paternity test while Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) looks on. Shiloh says he will be a better dad to Wiley than him and Brad have been. Lucas begins to strangle Shiloh and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) pulls him away.

Mac shows up and tells him that he is under arrest. Shiloh says that he was attacked and all of them deny seeing anything happen.

General Hospital Recap – Nina questions Jax

At the Crimson office Nina asks who Hayden is to him and he says it’s not her business. They agree to keep their personal life out of the office as much as possible. Jax receives a call and its Hayden asking him to represent her.

Valentin shows up and tells Nina that he thinks Jax Is not interested in Crimson, but in their relationship. He says Jax has files on him and Cassandra Pierce.

General Hospital Recap – Hayden is brought in for questioning

At the police station Chase is questioning Hayden about her evening on the haunted star. She says she had nothing to do with Liesl’s accident and she wants her lawyer. Chase asks Finn who Hayden is to him and he explains she was his fiancée.

Chase runs down the list of all the crimes that Hayden did and can’t believe Finn almost married her.

General Hospital Recap – Valentin and Lulu argue

At the metro court, Valentin proposes taking Charlotte to Wyndemere for the whole summer. Lulu says she will stick to their schedule as he jabs her to “work on her marriage.” Laura interjects and tells Valentin to stay out of it or she will tell Sonny what he’s up to.

Laura and Lulu sit down and she explains how much she misses Dante.

General Hospital Recap – Sonny coaches Dev

He says he needs to know who his enemies are which includes Josslyn’s father, Jasper Jax. Dev says he doesn’t want to go to school which Sonny says he must go. Dev says he wants to work for Sonny and is old enough to not need school.

Dev says fleeing Ankara made him realize he wants to stand on his own two feet.

General Hospital Recap – Michael meets with Willow

In the Port Charles jail, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) explains to Michael that her mother is going to testify against Shiloh. Willow tells Michael that Nelle Benson is her mom’s roommate at Pentonville, which shocks him. Michael says he still thinks about the night that Jonah “died” and how Nelle was so awful to him.

Michael explains that Shiloh may be getting arrested but, he’s at the hospital getting a DNA test.

General Hospital – Friday Excitement!

Finn tells Jordan that her latest results are good and asks her a favor. Hayley says she’s been in Port Charles for two minutes and the bullying has already begun. Jax tells Hayden that she better admit that they are not in a relationship.

Valentin says he does not like Jax’s plan and thinks hes investigating the almost murder of Cassandra. Jax and Hayden enter the office and he introduces her as the new CFO.

Laura gets a call from Mac and gets up from her table. Dev tries to steal her purse, but Jason catches him.

After being denied access, Maxie pushes her way into see Dante and we hear a gunshot.

Chase releases Willow, just as Shiloh comes down to his cell. Lucas takes the DNA results and tears them up…….flash to preview
