The young talented actor, who is best known as Laura Spencer’s quirky, yet lovable grandson on General Hospital, is set to star in a new project in the coming months.

Bechtel has joined the cast of I Still Believe, an upcoming film that is in the works with Lionsgate. It will be directed by Jon and Andrew Erwin and written by Joe Erwin and Jon Gunn.

And according to Nicholas Bechtel himself, he’s very excited to get to work. He updated his fans on social media about the project recently and said that he’s looking forward to working with the cast and crew.

Bechtel will also be in good company. I Still Believe’s cast includes KJ Apa as Jeremy, Gary Sinise as Tom Camp and more.The film is due out in theaters in March of 2020.

Variety says the film “will focus on Jeremy Camp’s journey of love and loss that proves there is always hope. Camp is a Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter who has sold over 5 million albums and has toured 36 countries. He’s released four gold albums and received two American Music Awards nominations.”

In addition to his work on daytime television, the young pint-sized actor has been keeping very busy lately. Not only is he juggling his school work and his activities, but he’s also been keeping busy with his television work, too.

Bechtel starred as Lewie Diaz on the Disney Channel’s popular television series, Stuck in the Middle from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he also had a part in American Crime Story as a young Rob Kardashian back in 2016. He’s also starred in several television shows including Underdog Kids, Grey’s Anatomy, Girl Meets Words, Rake, Baby Daddy, and Good Luck Charlie.
