General Hospital News: Maura West’s Daughters Following In Her Footsteps

General Hospital star Maura West (Ava Jerome) has a lot to be proud of these days. That’s because her two daughters, Kate and Birdie have just made their on stage debut as two actors in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

West was so excited for her girls that she shared a pic of them in their costumes on her Instagram account this past week. Here’s what you need to know.

“My daughters on stage together…makes for a very happy Momma! #shakespeare#amidsummernightsdream,” West said in her caption.

It didn’t take her fans very long to comment on the photo. A lot of her co-stars like Emme Rylan (Lulu Falconeri) and Chloe Lanier (Nelle Benson) shared their love.

Some of her fans commented on the pic with, “They look so much like you but your older daughter looks like your clone in the face!!!” along with, “The older one especially looks like her gorgeous mama! You must be so proud. Obviously they look up to you because they want to be artists just like their mother.”

“Beautiful Girls!!! I just want to tell you, hands down you are the best actress on daytime!!” another fan wrote. “Amazing acting in the last few weeks, truly remarkable love watching what you do best!!!”

General Hospital News – Will The Girls Become Actresses?

Now whether or not Kate and Birdie do follow in their mother’s footsteps remain to be seen. We have a feeling if they truly do want to become actresses, there’s a very good chance that West might help them along.

After all, many fans consider her to be a true acting icon and a legend on General Hospital. There’s no one that delivers drama as well as Ava Jerome!
