General Hospital News: Kristina Wagner Celebrates 35th Anniversary On GH

Ever since Kristina Wagner debuted her character Felicia Jones on General Hospital, viewers knew right then and there that she’s going to be someone they’ll love to watch. It’s been 35 years since she first appeared and fans still adore her. Wagner is celebrating this special milestone in her acting career and “General Hospital” congratulated her with a very special delivery.

General Hospital News – Show’s Boss Sends Flowers

Wagner shared that the soap’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, sent her a flower arrangement to celebrate her anniversary. She also took the time to thank the show and express her love for the soap.

“Hydrangeas, Roses, and Orchids! Thank you @valentinifrank for the beautiful flower arrangement to honor the 35th anniversary of my debut as Felicia on General Hospital,” Wagner said. “Words cannot express my deep gratitude and love I have for this show,” she added.

GH News – Former GH Head Writer Sends Greetings

Michele Val Jean, former head writer on “General Hospital,” also congratulated Wagner. She replied to her post and said, “They’re lucky to still have you and I’m glad you got flowers. Happy Anniversary”

General Hospital New – Kristina Wagner’s History on “General Hospital”

Wagner first appeared on General Hospital in 1984. She continued to play the role of Felicia until 2003. She left the show for a bit but returned the following year on a recurring contract back in 2004. In 2005, she exited the soap once again after the show failed to move her to a contract role for a major storyline. Sandy Ferguson took over the role but left on the same year.

The character was not seen until 2007 when Wagner returned for a brief stint, which lasted until 2008. Four years later, the show announced that Wagner will reprise her role as Felicia, and she’s been playing the character ever since.

When she debuted the character, Felicia pretended to be a boy who was on a mission to secretly take a family heirloom from Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner). She eventually had to reveal her true identity. Since then, she’s been involved in several major storylines. She married Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) several times, had a romantic relationship with Mac Scorpio (John York), and gave birth to Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Georgie (Lindze Letherman). She’s gone through several health scares including paralysis and amnesia.
