General Hospital Comings And Goings: Two GH Stars Head For Primetime

General Hospital stars Carolyn Hennesy and Jackie Zeman have both found a new home on primetime television and are celebrating their career successes with their fans. Here’s what you need to know.

Carolyn, who is best known for her role as Diane in Port Charles, has just landed a new voice-over role as General Leia on the Disney Channel’s Star Wars Resistance and Disney XD’s Lego Star Wars: All-Stars!

Carolyn, who is assuming the role from the legendary and late actress Carrie Fisher, said, “To be able to say, ‘May the force be with you’ not only as a member of the Star Wars universe but as one of the truly iconic legends brought tears to my eyes the first time. I needed to take just a moment to process it.”

Jackie, meanwhile, is celebrating a huge primetime success, too. Her TLC renovation show, Make This Place Your Home, has just been picked up for a second season. She hosts the show with Jaime Laurita. The talented duo help people renovate their houses into homes full of practical and modern design and of course, love.

The lifestyle guru recently tweeted to her fans, “Heartfelt love, thanks and appreciation to all of our friends and family who have turned in to watch Make This Place Your Home this season. Your positive thoughts and support mean the world to me. You are truly the best! And thanks to you, we will begin shooting more episodes for the new season right after the new year!”
