General Hospital Chloe Lanier Talks About Her Daytime Emmy Submissions, Her Emmy Plans and More

General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)General Hospital spoilers tease that Chloe Lanier, who plays Nelle Benson in a recurring role on General Hospital, is getting herself ready for her big night! In an interview with Chris Eades of ABC Soaps In Depth, Lanier talks about the scenes she submitted for consideration and what her plans are for the Daytime Emmy Awards.

Lanier admitted to being surprised that she garnered a nomination, being a comparative newbie like she is. She was proud to be counted among fellow young actress nominees.

Those include Hayley Erin (formerly Kiki Jerome on GH), Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks, GH), Victoria Konefal (Ciara, Days of Our Lives) and Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire, Days of Our Lives). This is her second nomination for a Daytime Emmy.

General Hospital Spoilers – Tug Of War With A Baby Blanket

The scenes she submitted for consideration this time around include she and Laura Wright as Nelle and Carly Corinthos in the Quartermaine nursery. Nelle admits to Carly she is the one who was gaslighting her the whole time.

General Hospital viewers will recall that shortly afterward the two became entangled in a tug-of-war with a baby blanket. It was identical to one of Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) in which a pregnant Nelle twisted her ankle and fell down a flight of stairs, but blamed Carly for pushing her.

Another scene she submitted was one with Josh Swickard. Nelle and Detective Harrison Chase were on the pier and Nelle tried to talk Chase into murdering Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), the father of her baby.

General Hospital Spoilers – Switched Her Healthy, Living Baby

She also submitted the scene where Nelle had just given birth with the assistance of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) out in the woods.

She had switched her living healthy baby with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). His adopted infant, the son of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) had died.

Lanier said she also submitted one scene she had done with Maura West (Ava Jerome), but didn’t say which one.

Lanier plans on attending the big night with her boyfriend. She also hopes to see some of her new soap land friends such as Olivia Rose Keegan.
