General Hospital Casting News: Bonnie Burroughs Lands Role — Read The Details!

General Hospital is welcoming a new face on September 3. Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a surprise visitor—their cousin, Gladys Corbin. The character will be played by Bonnie Burroughs, who’s not new to soap operas.

Burroughs has appeared on several other soaps including Days of Our Lives as Gretchen Lindquist, One Life To Live as Stacey Giordano, and Santa Barbara as Dr. Jamie Lawrence.

She’s also known for her roles in Easy A, Hard to Kill, and Prison Break. Her other acting credits include Matlock, Desperate Housewives, Moonlight, Cold Case, The Mentalist, Rosewood, and 2 Broke Girls.

General Hospital Comings and Goings

In line with General Hospital comings and goings, it’s been revealed that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lainer) is sticking for a longer story arc. Although she’s busy with other projects aside from “General Hospital,” she’s still locked up in Pentonville as far as Lainer’s character is concerned. She’s keeping a close eye on Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) while trying to keep him away from her son.

Aside from that, viewers are also on the lookout for the appearance of Jessica Tuck, who plays Cassandra Pierce, and Michael E Knight. However, not much has been revealed as to who Knight will be playing on the show. Whatever role he plays, the Emmy-award winner and All My Children alum will surely be a great addition to the show.

Meanwhile, Vernee Watson, who plays Aunt Stella Henry is still off-canvas. Watson is working on new CBS rom-com while her character has gone traveling to Europe, leaving her storyline open for a return.

Michelle Argyris recently joined the cast of “General Hospital.” She’s playing the role of Kendra Lennon, who’s being used by Shiloh to stir up trouble. Kendra works as a personal trainer, but she’s gunning for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for the death of Kiefer Bauer (Christian Alexander).

Spoilers reveal that Alexis will sense a strange vibe from Kendra. She’ll most likely brush it off at first but perhaps Kendra is bound to do something that will raise the red flags. What are Kendra’s plans? How is she connected to Kiefer? Viewers have to tune in to watch the drama unfold.
