Emmerdale Spoilers: Jacob Falls Straight Into David’s Trap

“Emmerdale” hinted a new twist on the Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) saga based on the show’s tweet, which says, “Straight into the trap, Jakey.”

Viewers of the show can expect to see Jacob fall into a trap that’s been orchestrated by David Metcalf (Matthew Wolfenden).

Viewers of “Emmerdale” may recall that David refused to involve the police because he thinks he can fix the problem on his own. He also covered up Maya’s grooming of Jacob by telling most of the village that Jacob was away so he can focus on making his revisions.

Emmerdale Spoilers – Convinced To Go Back To School

David and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) managed to convince Jacob to go back to school and proceed with the plan to sit his remaining GSCE exams. However, it seems like David knows something is up. So he asks Ryan Stocks (James Moore) favor and installs spy software on Jacob’s laptop. This will allow David and Leyla to monitor their son’s online activities and hopefully find out where Maya is hiding.

Ryan agrees to the unusual request. It turns out that David was right. He was able to determine Maya’s whereabouts thanks to Jacob, who was unaware that his laptop was being monitored.

Jacob found Maya’s passport and money at Leyla’s house. They plan to use to move to Newcastle and start a new life together. He informed Maya about it through an email, which gives David a chance to catch Maya.

Emmerdale Spoilers – Maya Stepney Will Be Arrested

It has been revealed that Maya Stepney is set to be arrested as Jacob falls into David’s trap. Before the police arrive, David will have the opportunity to face the person who groomed his son.

Maya will try to convince David to let her go. She will tell him that she will never contact Jacob again and leave the village for good. But the police arrives on the scene at the same time as Jacob’s arrival.

Jacob feels distressed after seeing Maya getting arrested by the police. Still in love with his abuser, Jacob will blame his dad, David for ruining his life. Will Jacob continue to stand by her or will he finally realize that what he and Maya had wasn’t real or right?
