Eastenders Star Danny Dyer Desperate To Meet His Cousin Prince Charles

It looks like there is a pretty big connection between the British royal family and the soap world. Eastenders actor Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter on the BBC soap, has revealed that he is distant cousins with Prince Charles. The actor admitted that he is so excited about sharing royal roots with Charles that he is not only desperate to meet him but would also like to give him a kiss on the lips, too.

Danny Dyer made the revelation when it was announced that he would be the newest ambassador for the Prince’s Trust. He was recently asked to present an award on behalf of the royal charity organization.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain in an interview, the soap actor said that he would love to just hang out with Prince Charles, who just happens to be the next King of England. As a matter of fact, he even said that he would be so excited to meet him that he might end up giving him a big fat kiss on the lips!

Danny joked, “I hope so. I’m gonna cop for him if I see him obviously because of it about times me and had a meet. And I might put the lips on him. Break all protocol as cousins do and just give him a nice cuddle and a kiss.”

Of course, that would definitely be a sight to see! And while there’s also a good chance that Danny might one day meet his long lost royal cousin, we doubt that Prince Charles would appreciate a smacker on the lip, even if they are indeed cousins.
