EastEnders Spoilers: Sonia Drops Shocking News About Jean

With the Slaters scrambling to find Jean (Gillian Wright), who decided to run away after the terrible news about her health spread, Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) will be forced to bring more bad news to the family about Jean.

When Jean received a heartbreaking news that she might have cancer, she decided to keep it to herself and didn’t want to undergo any form of treatment. However, she wasn’t able to keep her secret too long. Her family eventually found out about her health problem.

But Jean didn’t take her family’s response to her possible cancer diagnosis very well. She felt overwhelmed and decided to hide out in a caravan. Jean is even thinking of buying the van and staying away from her family for good.

Jean’s actions left her daughter Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) worried and desperate for her mom to come home. She even went as far as lying to the police, hoping it would force them to find her mom as soon as possible. She said she received a call from Jean and she’s thinking of taking her life.

At first, it seemed that her lie worked since a detective went over her house to ask some questions. But the detective soon found out what she did and warned her that lying to the police won’t do her any good.

Kat (Jessie Wallace) feels for Stacey whose mental health is suffering as she continues to worry about her mom’s well-being. She decides to take the matter into her own hands and enlists the help of Martin (James Bye). Kat and Martin go to Jean’s surgeon and Kat pretends she is her, in the hope that they can get Jean’s paperwork.

But her plan doesn’t work and they are forced to leave. But Martin was quick to do whatever he could while Kat was making a scene. He managed to write down some notes from the doctor’s computer screen.

He then tells Kat what he did and they were quick to think about asking for help from Sonia. With her nursing knowledge, Sonia interprets the doctor’s notes about Jean’s condition. The problem is that the whole family is not prepared to hear what she has to say. What do Jean’s notes mean? Will the Slaters manage to find and convince Jean to come home for her sake?
