EastEnders Spoilers: Rainie Discovers Stuart’s Shocking Secret

Rainie Branning is bound to make a shocking discovery about the past of EastEnders’ villain Stuart Highway. Branded as a troublemaker and menace by society, it almost seems very likely that Rainie will get in trouble as she confronts Stuart about his secret. What is he hiding and what will he do to make sure Rainie keeps her silence?

Stuart Highway has caused a lot of problems in Walford, but there is so much more to this character according to actor Ricky Champ during an interview with Metro.co.uk. Champ hinted that the show will look into the past of Walford’s villain for viewers to understand what made him the man he is now.

Rainie and Stuart have fought each other in a custody battle for Dot following Dr. Legg’s death, the former will take advantage when she learns about the latter’s secret. Rainie didn’t plan to stumble upon this discovery. She was feeling down after being pushed out by Max so she decides to attend a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. She was shocked when she sees Stuart talking about Dot in front of the group. Stuart didn’t know that Rainie was there until after the meeting and that’s when she started to urge him to reveal why he was there.

Stuart was not only shocked but furious that Rainie heard everything he shared. He ends up shocking Rainie more when he makes a confession about his past. He begs Rainie not to tell anyone about his secret. He was unsure if she will keep quiet or perhaps use his secret to blackmail him someday. So he decides to pack up and leave Walford for good. But, it won’t be that easy.

EastEnders spoilers indicate that Dot will stop him from leaving. He ends up revealing his secret to Dot. Will this mark the beginning of his redemption? Will he start making amends to the people he crossed?

Champ said: “There’d be a long queue of apologies that he’d have to make and good deeds for him to do, in order to make any headway towards redemption.”
