We’ve got sad news for fans of this Walford couple. EastEnders spoilers tease that Mick and Linda Carter will soon be leaving the show. Fortunately, this isn’t a permanent exit as the characters are expected to come back in the future. Mick is played by actor Danny Dyer while Kellie Bright portrays his feisty wife Linda. The actors are taking a temporary break from the soap.
According to Express.co.uk, Linda and Mick are currently headed to Australia to celebrate the wedding of their daughter, Nancy (Maddy Hill) and her fiancé, Tamwar Masood (Himesh Patel). And while they have every reason to look forward to the celebration, things aren’t looking very good back at home.
EastEnders Spoilers – Leaving On A Not-So-Good Note
Linda makes it pretty clear that she doesn’t like the fact that Shirley (Linda Henry) is taking over the Queen Vic during their stay Down Under. Linda has no reason to trust Shirley, who has acted very shady to her several times in the past.

What’s more, Linda doesn’t think that Shirley has what it takes to manage to pub while they are gone. Mick is trying to diffuse the situation by assuring Linda that everything will be fine, even though he has secret doubts himself.
EastEnders spoilers tease that Mick and Linda aren’t the only two that are leaving Walford. Tamwar’s father Masood (Nitin Ganatara) is also leaving for a new life in Australia.
EastEnders Spoilers – More Goodbyes
Speaking about his departure, Nitin recently said, “I am still deeply attached to Masood and have invested much emotion into making this character memorable. I am in awe of how loved he is by audiences and fans of all ages, from all cultures and religions and walks of life. Thank you. I am humbled by the love. I will of course miss EastEnders and the wonderful people that work tirelessly to bring audiences dramatic, funny and compelling stories.”
