EastEnders Spoilers – Dot Says Goodbye

Dot said her goodbyes to Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), telling her that she would spend some time with her family. This comes after Dot learned from Dr. Legg’s solicitor that her friend, who just recently died, left his entire personal and real estate to her, making her a millionaire. This has surprised her, and she feels she does not need all those money, except maybe some. Her new property is also on the other side of London.

To clear her head, she decides to leave Albert Square and visit her grandson Charlie in Ireland. Will this be the last time we will see Dot in Walford?

Spoilers tease that Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) might be hiding his true intention of staying under Dot’s roof. Rainie Branning (Tanya Franks) tells him she has caught up that Stuart is planning to con Dot, and then he grabs her wrist and tells her to “chill out or else…”

June Brown On EastEnders

June Brown has played Dot Cotton since 1985. She has a long career in television, cinema and theater. In 2005, she received a Lifetime achievement award at British Soap Awards and won Best Actress at the Inside Soap Awards. She was awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2008 and also received a nomination for Best Actress in the BAFTA in 2009.

She took a six-month break from the BBC soap in 2012. Brown started filming again in October that year and was seen on screen again in January 2013. Her eyesight started to fail in 2015 but she said she could not afford to retire yet In 2016, she signed a contract that she would stay on the soap until she is 90 years old. June Brown renewed the contract in 2018 to stay in 2019.
