Eastenders Spoilers: Christmas Trailer Teases Phil’s Revenge – Paternity Lies Have a Price

Eastenders spoilers reveal it will be a dark Christmas with explosive scenes, revenge plots and exposed secrets. One character that will be affected is Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean), who kept her affair and baby’s paternity a secret from hubby Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden). It seems there will be a price to pay when the betrayed husband finds out the whole truth.

EastEnders Spoilers – Sharon Mitchell’s Big Secret

For the past year, Sharon has been hiding a big secret from her husband. Not only did she have an affair with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), but the two ended up conceiving a child. A baby that Phil believed was his until recently.

Last week, Sharon was confident that the secret would stay hidden forever. However, she has no idea that Phil knows she strayed and that the baby does not belong to him. What Phil has wrong though is the identity of Sharon’s partner.

Eastenders spoilers reveal that Sharon went to great lengths to keep her secret from Phil. Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) knew about it and blackmailed her. More recently, the two were involved in a race to get to Phil first at the airport. However, there was a car crash along the way and Mel ended up losing her life.

Although the authorities cleared Sharon of any wrongdoing in Mel’s death, Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin) still blamed her. She publicly announced that Sharon was a murderer. Although she didn’t kill Mel and had no malicious intent, Sharon’s secret indirectly caused Mel’s death.

Eastenders Spoilers: Was He Worth It?

In a video teaser promoting the Christmas episodes, Phil asks Sharon if he was worth it. He is furious and ends up hurling a chair across the dining room table.

It is suggested that by the time this scene airs, Phil probably knows that Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is innocent. However, Keanu being the guilty party won’t be revealed until after Phil threatens Jack with a gun.

It is not known how Phil plans on making Keanu and Sharon pay for their betrayal. He is so enraged that saving the relationship is probably impossible at this point.

Plus, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) says in the trailer that “he won’t outlive Christmas.” That sounds like a death threat and it must be toward Keanu. However, that isn’t all. At the end, there is a blazing fire lighting up the night sky and the words, “It’s done” are chilling. Does Keanu die as a result of the affair? Fans will have to keep watching the soap to find out.
