It looks like there really might be something brewing behind closed doors at Kensington Palace. As a matter of fact, many royal observers noticed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had nothing to say on Prince William’s birthday this past weekend. What’s more, it seems as though they completely snubbed him by not only failing to wish him a Happy Birthday on social media, but by also staying completely silent throughout the entire day.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Had Nothing To Say On Prince William’s Birthday

For many months now it’s been reported that Prince Harry and Prince William had a falling out after the Duke of Cambridge suggested to his brother that he might have been moving a little too fast with Meghan Markle while they were still dating a few years back. The couple got engaged in November of 2017 and then tied the knot at Windsor Castle in May of 2018.

And while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle apparently forgot to wish the future King of England a very happy 37thbirthday on Instagram, they made sure to send their best wishes to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip on their birthdays.

It Was Rude For Meghan Markle And Prince Harry To Do What They Did

So, what’s up with the snub? That’s what a lot of fans want to know. Royal commentator Ingrid Seward told Britain’s The Sun that it was pretty rude for Harry and Meghan to not even acknowledge William on social media. She said, “I think it’s a snub if they don’t leave one for Prince William as they did for the Duke and for the Queen. If they don’t I think it’s pretty rude and will certainly be construed as purposeful. That is the trouble with Instagram it becomes your slave. But it’s not as if it’s a cousin or a friend – it’s Harry’s big brother.”

So far the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not made any comments about the supposed snub but at this point it’s safe to say that they won’t be organizing any birthday gatherings for Prince William anytime soon. Of course, that can easily change in the future. For now, it’s pretty clear that Harry and William are not as close as they used to be.
