Daytime Emmy Awards: Days Of Our Lives Kyler Pettis Wins Outstanding Younger Actor Award

Kyler Pettis, who plays Theo Carver on Days Of Our Lives, has won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor.

Born in Laguna Hills, California, Pettis took over the role as Theo in 2015.

Pettis’ reel submission included episodes from January 2018, just before the character exited the show.

Theo and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) fight over whether or not Theo (who is autistic) should go to Cape Town for medical treatment.

Ciara and Theo share an emotional goodbye. Later, Theo said goodbye to his loved ones before heading to South Africa for treatment.

“I am so filled with emotion after watching the final scenes I was able to play as Theo Carver,” he posted on Twitter when he exited the show.
