Days of Our Lives Weekly Spoilers January 7 to 11: Xander and Leo Team Up for Trouble – DA Melinda Trask Warns Nervous Haley Chen

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of January 7-11 tease that secrets and schemes will cause some trouble in Salem. For starters, Haley Chen’s (Thia Megia) connection on canvas will be revealed. It appears she’s related to DA Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen), so perhaps Melinda is Haley’s mom or older sister. The latest buzz is pointing in the sister direction right now.

Regardless, it certainly looks like they have a complicated relationship. Based on DOOL’s weekly preview video, Melinda doesn’t approve of Haley’s actions. This ties in with another secret of Haley’s, which was hinted at before her suicide attempt.

“Days” fans will recall that a desperate Haley called someone and begged for help. She didn’t get it, but it let us know she’s really up against the wall. Her problems didn’t go away just because JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) saved her life, so expect her issues to get worse over the next few episodes.

Melinda will corner Haley in the park and give her a lecture. She won’t be happy that Haley’s been cozying up to JJ lately. Melinda will hope that Haley kept her mouth shut and Haley will assure her that she did. However, JJ will get a clue soon enough. He’ll realize Haley’s secret is truly taking a toll, so he’ll do his best to find out what it is.

Other “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Leo Starke (Greg Rikaart) will meet Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) this week. He’ll become smitten immediately, but Xander only seems to like the ladies! Fortunately, there’s another way these two can partner up. Xander will suggest that maybe they can help each other, so a hilarious alliance will form.

Leo is eager to get ahead in the Kiriakis family and Xander just might be the one to help him achieve that. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say they’ll push Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) buttons in the week ahead. Xander’s got a significant flash drive and he intends to use it for a deal.

Will Victor take the bait? Will Leo be able to profit off this flash drive as well? It all depends on what he can bring to the table. Xander will need Leo to pull his own weight, so it should be interesting to see how this becomes a mutually beneficial arrangement.
