“They have an intimate moment when she’s feeling vulnerable and he’s feeling, not just romantically attracted to her, but sincerely wanting to comfort her.”

Even though Sarah tries to correct things, it won’t be easy. As for Xander, he isn’t giving up on his crush. He is patient and will be waiting for her to run back into his arms once again.
