According to the Hot Plots Preview in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, doctors Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will deliver Will and Sonny the devastating news. Will’s problems are being caused by a brain tumor.

The article doesn’t say if it’s benign or cancerous, operable or inoperable, but more tests will have to be done to determine a full diagnosis and plan of action and what type of medical protocol is needed. No matter what type of tumor it turns out to be, brain tumors are always dangerous.

Where they are located and what they can affect in the body can make a difference. If they press on or invade the parts of the brain, can cause other vital organs in the body to shut down. After all, the brain is the “computer” of the human body. It controls everything.

Days of Our Lives viewers know this will be devastating to Will and Sonny, after so many problems getting back together. Sonny must be thinking how terrible it would be after Will dying the first time and being revived if they went through all the trouble they did getting back together only for Will to die again, and permanently this time.

However, Sonny will be determined to not let Will see his worries. He will do his best to be Will’s rock through whatever happens, and to bolster his spirits and confidence. After all, a person’s attitude is very important in a serious illness, especially a potentially fatal one.

The will to live and how strong it is can make all the difference in whether a person recovers or continues to deteriorate.
