Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Rafe And Hope Ever Reconcile?

Days Of Our Lives spoilers tease a question; Could Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) ever reconcile? Days of Our Lives viewers wondered when the two talked about Ted Laurent’s (Gilles Marini) murder in a recent episode! The two admitted that they made pretty good partners!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – That Was POLICE Partners, Not MARRIAGE Partners

Days of Our Lives viewers will have noticed the two exes seemed to at least still be friendly and then there was the admission that they made pretty good partners, even though the implication seemed to be POLICE partners, not MARRIAGE partners! Although the two may care about each other, there are still some major problems in the way of a romantic reconciliation.

For Rafe’s part, Ted no longer being a romantic rival is a big roadblock out of the way, although both he didn’t want him dead, just out of town! For Hope’s part, if they were to try to reconcile romantically, Rafe would still need to learn to put her and her needs first, not his ex’s! Of course now that Hope herself is an ex maybe Rafe will put her needs first ahead of a different ex; unlikely, but maybe that’s a behavioral pattern he has and a new one for the psychology books; EPRS, or Ex-Partner Rescue Syndrome!

 Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Baby David

Rafe currently is still taking care of Baby David Ridgway (Jaxton and Dexter Ellis) and Hope’s not in the market to care for a baby, she would not even need a new grandchild in her life! She just got done dealing with the horrible problems of her granddaughter Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and she needs a vacation from being a grandma for a while! Plus, with Baby David comes watching out for his mother, Jordan Ridgway (Chrishell Hartley) and there’s another ex of Rafe’s still competing for Rafe’s attention!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – That’s Two Roadblocks Out Of The Way For Rafe, But What About Hope’s Roadblocks?

Roadblock one for Rafe was Ted. Ted is dead so that’s one roadblock out of the way. Roadblock two is that he was married to his boss, and so Hope no longer being the police commissioner was roadblock two and now that roadblock is gone. Sure, it didn’t seem to be such a problem at the time, until Hope fired him when he didn’t obey orders at work. What about at home?

Were Hope and Rafe able to make the distinction that just because she was boss at work, they should have been equal partners at home? Hope still sees his caring for Baby David and his rescuing other exes as roadblocks to a romantic reconcilement with him, and those still exist. She can’t really hold his recent fling with Carrie Brady (Christie Clark) against him since that happened after the divorce, but was it a fling or is she another ex he’ll run to if she “needs him?”

She doesn’t live in the United States but that didn’t stop him from rescuing Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) the last time she “needed him”! It seems like Rafe’s still got some changes to make before a romantic reconciliation would work!
