Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Claire Brady’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) time as a free young woman in Salem is coming to an end; with Olivia Rose Keegan leaving Days of Our Lives and her last airdate being July 8th, Days of Our Lives viewers are wondering whether Claire will be prosecuted for her crimes, or be institutionalized, and if she’s institutionalized, whether it will be in Bayview, as Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) is and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was; or whether it will be in China, having been taken back by her parents, Shawn-Douglas and Belle Black Brady (Brandon Beemer, Martha Madison) to be closer to them.

By the time Belle arrives in Salem, Claire will have been hospitalized and sedated, either in a psychiatric ward of Salem University Hospital or in Bayview. Claire clearly displayed by her behavior of kidnapping her aunt Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), trying to slit the throat of Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) plus threatening to set herself on fire in front of her grandmother Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that she is one sick little puppy and an obvious danger to both herself and others.

Even if Marlena wasn’t a psychiatrist, she could have more than proved this to authorities and at the very least gotten Claire under a 48-hour psych hold, and also for the longer term under a psychiatric judicial commitment which forces the mentally ill person into psychiatric care whether they want to be or not.

Normally, this is done by a family member, as Marlena also is to Claire, but can also be done by a friend if there is no close family available. Technically, Marlena is her step-grandmother being married to Claire’s grandfather John Black (Drake Hogestyn) but that still counts.

Days Of Our Lives Olivia Rose Keegan’s Last Airdate Monday, July 8

Given that Olivia Rose Keegan’s last airdate is Monday, July 8th and storylines don’t normally progress that quickly to allow for any trial or prosecution, Claire will probably be institutionalized and there is a fairly good chance, given Shawn and Belle’s guilty feelings over what their daughter has gone through and done, she may return to China with them and be institutionalized there where they can have more of an active role in her recovery.

Belle is a lawyer and can probably get around any legalities, although there’s always a possibility Claire could be recast and be extradited to Salem to face charges, Ben never did so Claire probably won’t either. This would be an obvious innocent by reason of insanity verdict if it were to go to court!
