Days Of Our Lives Spoilers Wednesday, May 22: Eve’s Ruthless Strategy – Claire Faces Ben’s Fire Questions – Lani Confesses

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Wednesday, May 22, tease that Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) will be ready to roll her sleeves and get to work – and by work, we mean take down Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).

That’ll be one of the first items on the agenda as Eve takes over the role of police commissioner. She’ll be anxious to plot against Ben and make him pay for Paige Larson’s (True O’Brien) death.

While Eve forms a strategy, Ben will interrogate Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) at the loft. He just caught her on the verge of torching Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) clothes, so he’s going to want an explanation.

JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Haley Chen (Thia Megia) will have already moved locations, so Eli and Hope will be back at square one. They’ll end up questioning Tripp about the runaway lovebirds, but he’ll do his best to stay tight-lipped and protect their new DOOL hideout.

At the Horton cabin, Haley will be grateful as she continues leaning on JJ for support. They’ll bond over their plans for the future and the sparks that keep flying between them. Over with Lani Price (Sal Stowers), she’ll make an admission and push Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to understand her point of view. Lani just got caught in a lie about the baby, but she’ll want a chance to plead her case.

“Days” fans can tell that Ben has changed and doesn’t pose a threat to David Ridgeway. Although we can understand why Lani wouldn’t want David around a serial killer, Ben’s on his meds now. A supervised visit couldn’t possibly be that risky. Why can’t Uncle Ben hold the little fella if other people are around?

At the same time, we get why Lani is terrified something will happen to David. Her own son shared the same name with this kid and didn’t make it. Lani has grown attached to the new David and doesn’t want history to repeat itself. She couldn’t handle burying another baby that she loves.
